That's a wrap for 2024. We’ve had another rewarding year at Happy Haus, creating homes for wonderful clients, with many more exciting projects heading to site and starting in the studio in 2025. We don’t take for granted that we are in a position to be fostering a talented and dedicated team that are all working towards great outcomes for our clients and the business. As part of our development, we challenged ourselves to answer the how and why. Happy Haus wins the Housing Industry Association (HIA) Queensland Small Lot Housing Award for Mount Gravatt East Haus 056 👏

One of Brisbane’s most coveted streets has a new addition to its skyline. Introducing Haus Northgate 065, one of Happy Haus' most ambitious projects to date. Sophistication inside and out. This six-bedroom luxury home melds modernist and contemporary Queenslander cues on an expansive 1,200 sqm site. We thank our client, team, and collaborators for a brilliant journey. We are thrilled to see Coorparoo Haus 369 heading to site. Working with our developer clients to design this home to maximise its location and city views has been a rewarding collaboration. We look forward to sharing more of this inspired Happy Haus project as it progresses.

Our Happy Haus projects are progressing well across sites; here are four homes that made solid progress throughout September. Thanks, as always, to our brilliant teams, trades and suppliers whose care and craft we can always rely on to deliver great outcomes for our client partners.

It’s been a rewarding year at Happy Haus. With the residential construction industry improving from a supply chain standpoint, we are fortunate to be designing and building some of the best projects we have ever tackled. Our teams are doing great work across all business areas and collaborating brilliantly with our clients and trade and supply partners. While we love showcasing our completed homes, we are equally proud of the design expertise and skilled craftsmanship that go into the construction of every Happy Haus project. Here is a glimpse into three of our homes currently under construction.

As part of the James Hardie Design Handbook series for 2024, Happy Haus was invited to share ideas and insight on how to create the mid-century modern look. It has been so good to revisit some of the mid-century-inspired homes we have built over the years that serve as inspiration for what’s possible with contemporary materials, and ultra-modern amenities. Alongside some of the brilliant James Hardie products we use in our homes, the guide includes material and texture references, colour palettes and other products we love such as ABI Interiors, National Tiles, Beacon Lighting, Corinthian Doors and Jardan Australia. Thank you James Hardie for the invitation to collaborate and for many wonderful years of partnership.
