Winners are grinners! We are excited to announce that Aston Consulting won the Peoples Choice award at the IESANZ - The Lighting Society Vic/Tas Awards 2024 for the Holding Redlich’s 500 Bourke St project. Our team loved working on this unique project. When the brief stated that the project needed to feature ‘Quintessential Melbourne’ an indoor tram was imagined, at this point we knew it was going to be a fun project…. and now it’s an award winning project. Congratulations team Aston. Also on the night our very own Orhun Bicakci and Ian Johnson presented the IES student awards for 2023.
We are thrilled to share that Ian Johnson will again be speaking as part of the Monash Circular Economy Roundtable Topic: Leadership for Circular Economy Most types of organisations have already started or are planning their transition to being part of the circular economy. The transition from a linear economy to a circular economy can be challenging if not planned adequately and if proper leadership is not provided. Many initiatives aimed at improving organisational performance have failed in the past primarily due to poor leadership. The uptake of circular principles and practices is slow across many organisations and regions. The urgency to act now cannot be underestimated! Adequate leadership needs to be provided at different levels within organisations and across the regional, through involvement of local and state governments. In this Roundtable meeting, we focus on ‘Leadership for Circular Economy’. With the Summer holidays in the rear-view mirror, at Eagle Lighting we are hitting the ground running. Our teams are busy in Production and have started the year flying and we now have product consuming much of our floor space.
