Updates

  • This festive season, Queensland Children's Hospital's young patients have taken on an extra special role – as official Toy Testers for the Children's Hospital Foundation's annual Toy Drive! 💚 Thanks to a generous donation from BIG W our toy testers shared their thoughts on which toys will bring the biggest smiles to kids in hospital this Christmas. From Bluey playsets to LEGO creations, their expert reviews are helping us fill our Toy Drive with holiday cheer. While the clock may be ticking to Christmas, there's still time to donate gifts and brighten Christmas for kids spending the holidays in hospital. Head to childrens.org.au for more information. • I wish I didn't have cancer. I wish I could be home with my brother for Christmas. I wish I could see my dog. Many children in hospital yearn for things beyond toys and games. These children wish to go home, to see their pets and to feel like kids again. This Christmas, Children's Hospital Foundation invites you to join us to make a wish, make a difference. Your support can help bring comfort, joy and healing to children who need it most during the festive season – fulfilling the wishes of our state's sickest children. • What a blast! Party day was a huge celebration filled with joy, smiles and reflection on how far we've come together to support Queensland's sickest kids. An effort made possible by our partners and community, who are and will always remain at the heart of everything we do. Thank you to The Lottery Corporation, The Coffee Club Australia, Steggles, Imagine Holidays Australia and AMIEU. As we look towards the next decade of care at Queensland Children's Hospital, we are excited for the future and what is possible – together. Join us and donate at childrens.org.au/birthday today.
