About us

The Association offers correspondence courses to new and existing members. By registering with the Association you will become an Associate Member and join a group of professionals who consider Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as a positive alternative procedure for the settling of disputes. This group of professionals include a network of legal practitioners, (i.e. attorneys, advocates and other legally qualified persons), members of the construction industry (i.e. architects, quantity surveyors, claims consultants, engineers and project managers) and other business persons (e.g. accountants). There are courses beckoning to be undertaken, which courses can elevate members from Associates to, inter alia, Fellowship membership status and/or enhance a member’s educational background in ADR. The courses are: - Accelerated Arbitration Course for Advocates and Attorneys (http://www.arbitrators.co.za/education/); - Certificate Course in Arbitration (http://www.arbitrators.co.za/education/correspondence-courses/); - Fellowship Admission Course (http://www.arbitrators.co.za/education/fellowship-admission-course/); - Specialisation in Construction Law (http://www.arbitrators.co.za/education/specialisation-in-construction-law/); - Mediation.
