The design and development process took just two days, and I'm incredibly proud of the results. This is just the beginning—I'll be adding more pictures, sections, and integrations to enhance the experience for both potential clients and existing customers. My goal is to make it as user-friendly as possible while also empowering our admins with the tools they need to manage bookings and inquiries efficiently. Building this website has been a rewarding journey, and I’m excited to see how it will help us grow and connect with more people. Morning, and a happy belated Heritage Day, a day of great significance! It's been 2-3 weeks since I announced howibuiltmywebsite.com so it's about time for a "sprint review", if you will. – Update – 📈 I'm officially opening up to short-term contracts (3-6 months) and/or part time freelance gigs (up to 1 week per job). Finding a permanent role is still preferred. 🤓 In preparation to knock some socks off — my Resume, CV and LinkedIn needed an overhaul. Plus, the job hunting itself was also a ton of admin. It's all in the name of progress though, some awesome things are lining up, so wish me luck! 🍀 📚 Frontend Masters courses, "React + Typescript" and "SVG Animations" are still in progress. I had devised a study method to improve retention, at the expense of speed. The Good: • Some awesome things are lining up. • I've felt confident raising the bar for myself and only applying to jobs I'm sincerely excited about. • Study method has been effective. • I'm enjoying the subjects. • The long weekend gave me a chance to recharge. The Bad: • There are bills to pay — so I'd be lying if I said things are breezy. • Study method has been far too slow. • Lost some steam last week, letting the procrastination take over a little too much. Take Action: • Keep up the effort on the job hunt. • Adjust study method so that it's fast at first, with the slower revision bits closer to the end. • Be kind to yourself, you're a machine 💪 but only metaphorically 😎 For those who care, thanks so much for all the support I've received, it means the world to me. Now... LET'S GET THIS!!! 🚀

rain South Africa was a great customer centric company - I used to go to the website or use the app -; self provision 5g and it would show up a few days later - great accurate layered coverage map - excellent experience. Last month. No self provision. No coverage map. No pricing. Call center in India. can't help me but people will call back. went to try to buy, no way to buy, they promise to call and don't... I am a happy user, want more, can't get it... looking for alternatives... i know a guy on LinkedIn who heads up customer experience -; he used to step up and sort out blunders... now he won't respond... probably embarrassed or overwhelmed... company in fast decline -; they outsourced core competencies - customer service - sales -; I give them 4.7 years to bankrupt if they don't fix it this year (2025). The new EON AI Ready Metaverse is simply amazing. I’ve been dreaming for years of the day to come when anyone can create metaverse experiences on the fly for learning, training and performing. I must admit that the latest version of EON AI Ready Metaverse release by EON Reality Inc this week surpasses all my expectations see the video attached. The most amazing part about this video is that the 10 experiences consist of complete metaverse experience with several indoors outdoors 360 environments, 3-D assets, knowledge portals, assessments and artificial intelligence reports. 💯 % of this was generated by an AI agent. All I did was provided a wish list of the titles of the experiences I wanted to create and then I went for a cup of coffee. When I returned those Spatial AI METAVERSE experiences were created. Also anyone can experience these on a normal smart phone, tablet or a laptop, no need for expensive headsets although if you have them, they also are supported. I’m super proud with the EON’s teams work. I sometimes wish we had access to strategy decks as soon as campaigns flighted so we can go into the insights and get an understanding on how teams landed to their creative executions. Most of the case studies I went through during my time at Wits (Film, Visual & Performing Arts) looked into the negative stereotypes that cleaning products have perpetuated throughout history about Black women. We see those ads today still. Is there enough diversity in marketing teams, I ask? For example, if you’re going to be doing a pride month campaign, is your team (company) inclusive or are you trying to tick boxes and tap into realities you haven’t a slightest clue about? That’s how you fall into doing problematic work and hoping it lands. OMO has done some daring work which I think is the beginning of a much bigger conversation. Kudos to them. And there’s lots to unpack. Where’s queer representation? Have women been intentionally left out from this discussion and why? Happy to hear your thoughts — please keep it constructive. This is meant to be a learning space.

In less than a month South Africans will be heading to the polls to vote in their 7th democratic elections. 🇿🇦 This is the moment voters will be actively seeking out information about candidates, voting locations and campaign agendas. A lot of what my team and I focus on — when it comes to Google products — is making this info gathering easy and safe. For example... 🔎 On Search: When people search for topics like “how to vote,” they will find information about ID requirements, voting stations and more — linking to authoritative sources from our partners such as the IEC (Electoral Commission of South Africa). 🎫 On Ads: We were the first company to require advertisers to disclose when their election ads include synthetic content that inauthentically depicts real or realistic-looking people or events. 🧑‍💻On AI: We work with a tool from Google DeepMind called SynthID which directly embeds a digital watermark into AI-generated images and audio created with our tools.
