Rosalía finally addressed those fan theories regarding one of her tattoos. Recently, the musician stopped by Spanish talk show El Hormiguero to promote her new album Motomami. During her appearance, Rosalía took the chance to share which of her tattoos was of most personal significance and there's a super romantic backstory to it.
As noted by Marca, when she was asked to share her most “meaningful” ink, Rosalía quickly removed her shoe to show off the double R's inked on her foot. While guest host Nuria Roca promptly asked if it was the Rolls-Royce logo — because, well, it looks like the Rolls-Royce logo — the singer said, “Or it could be something else.”
As for what that something else is, the Spaniard confirmed it was in reference to her relationship with Puerto Rican singer and rapper Rauw Alejandro. “It hurt a lot because I got it done without any sort of numbing. I told [him], ’I’m going to get your initial tatted because it’s also mine,'" the star shared. So, “RR” for Rauw + Rosalía.
Fans had previously speculated that Rosalía's tattoo was completed in tribute to her current romance, but this appearance marks the first official confirmation.

Rosalía and Rauw, whose real name is Raúl Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz, went Insta official with their romance nearly a year ago, People reports. Since then, they've appeared in numerous social media posts together. They just recently celebrated Valentine's Day together and shared a cute carousel of social media images. “My muse,” Rauw captioned a photo of the duo.
Rosalía's alt Instagram account has provided plenty of shots of the miniature ink, including two photographs from June 2021. Based on the caption of this photo, it appears that this is her third tattoo. As Popsugar notes, she also has a foot tattoo and a thigh tattoo of a garter belt.
