Breakout Session
• You will design an optimum well Completion for a well
• Information and data can be derived from the package
provided. Normally you will look for these
information/data. They are available from well reports,
logs, pressure plots, G&G and Reservoir reports/data,
third parties reports, tapes, diskettes, production reports,
field development plants, etc
• At the end of each day, study the information/data and
provide the best answers to the relevant questions
based on the lessons learnt for the day
• On the last day of the course each group will present
their findings on the optimum completion design for the
well

Group 1 : Tiong A-27
• Horizontal Well, Pilot hole drilled
• Objective is to complete in the horizontal sections :
J-19 sand (about 3400 to 3850 mMDRKB)
J-18 sand (about 4060 to 4325 mMDRKB)
• Assume 100% oil
