TITLE OF EVENT: WORLD TEACHERS DAY

DATE: OCTOBER 10, 2023

NARRATIVE REPORT
The World Teachers' Day celebration on October 10, 2023, was a resounding success, filled with
heartfelt gratitude, joyous activities, and meaningful reflections. The event, organized by the
Supreme Secondary Learner’s Government, aimed to honor the tireless dedication and
unwavering commitment of teachers who shape the minds and futures of countless students.
In the weeks leading up to the event, a dedicated team of SSLG members and students worked
tirelessly to ensure the celebration would be memorable. Programs were prepared, and the
stage was decorated with banners, and student artwork expressing gratitude towards teachers.
Students from various departments prepared performances, speeches, and tokens of
appreciation for their beloved educators.
In the middle of ceremony each teacher received a flower and as a token of appreciation from
the students. The main attraction of the day was the array of games designed specifically for
teachers. These games were both competitive and light-hearted, aimed at bringing out the fun
side of the educators. In between the games, students from different classes performed songs,
dances, and skits dedicated to their teachers.
As the day drew to a close, a special closing ceremony was held where the head of the Student
Council thanked the teachers for their participation and contributions to the school community.
The World Teachers' Day celebration with games for teachers was a resounding success. It
provided a perfect balance between recognizing the hard work of teachers and giving them a
chance to enjoy themselves. The event strengthened the bond between students and teachers,
and the joyful memories created will be cherished by everyone involved. It was a day filled with
appreciation, fun, and a deepened sense of community.
