We are pleased to announce the availability of the cnPilot™ e510 Outdoor 802.11ac Wave 2 Access Point. This access point has several enhancements to extend the
operating environment and improve performance for outdoor wireless access coverage. The cnPilot e510 fits into the outdoor portfolio alongside the e500, e501, e502,
e700, and newly announced e505. The e510 can be managed by cnMaestro™ running in the cloud, in a private data center, or on premises. The e510 has a similar
industrial design as the e500 and features the same wall-mount/pole-mount integrated bracket.

• E510 is 11ac wave 2 supporting MU-MIMO. MU-MIMO can increase the network throughput up to 2x depending on the client types connected.
• E510 has a 9dBi gain antenna on the 5GHz radio. The extra gain improves rate-at-range performance.
• E510 is rail certified for Shock & Vibration. Use the e510 for mobile WiFi like industrial vehicles, forklift, passenger transport, metro and rail systems.
• E510 has improved ESD protection and improved LTE Filtering to increase immunity to interference and surge.
• E510 operating temperature extends from -40c to 65c, and wind resistance up to category 5.

4. Warranty and Support Part Numbers:
The e510 will include the 3-year extended warranty as outlined at https://www.cambiumnetworks.com/support/limited-lifetime-warranty/. Technical phone support is
included for the life of the product.

5. FAQ:

Q Will this replace the e500?

A No, the e500 has 30v or 56v power out on GE2 for connection to a Cambium subscriber module or to an external 48v device. Each AP will serve a different use
case.
Q What advantage is the 802.11ac wave 2?
A. The advantage is support for multi-user MIMO technology. MU-MIMO is an advanced technology that can increase the network cell capacity by up to 2x. Actual
improvement depends on the type of client device connected, the location of those devices, and RF interference in the area.
Q. Why doesn’t the e510 have PoE out?
A. We found that 75% of e500 customers do not need the PoE out function. By removing that extra cost, we can use a wave 2 radio and higher-gain antenna to
meet a different use case.
Q. Does the e510 have a connectorized antenna port?
A. No, the e510 has a Cambium designed RF front end and antenna for maximum performance.
