The Golden Rules of Safe Driving

RULE 1: Don't eat, text, or talk on your cell phone when you're driving. Keep your eyes on the road and always

pay attention.

RULE 2: It's important to observe the speed limit and maintain a safe following distance behind the car in

front of you.

RULE 3: Expect to get stuck in traffic. When you do, be patient. Don't honk your horn, and never gesture at

other drivers with your fist. It doesn't help. In fact, it usually makes things worse!

RULE 4: Be careful at night. Many people drive more slowly, so don't be aggressive. Find a safe place to pass, but

never flash your lights.
