• Newsfeed Android Application: Built an Android News App by using third party News API and implemented Retrofit2
to call API. Used Google Gson to convert JSON in to JAVA objects and then serialized it using Retrofit and OKHttp
library to receive data from web. Used GLIDE library for downloading images and Implemented Recycler View to display
data retrieved from the news website.

• COVID-19 Phase Detection and Predictions: Designed and implemented an Agent Based Simulator to model citizen
dynamics and virus spread based on stochastic state machines. Optimized parameters of the simulator, such as the Virus R0,
state residence times, etc. using Bayesian Parameter Optimization.
Result: Achieved 96.3% accuracy with error of less than 5% for spatio-temporal modelling of Covid-19 case trajectory
during Mar-Dec’20. (November, 2020)
