OBJECTIVE
A primary goal of gesture recognition technology is to create a system which can
identify specific human gestures and use them to convey information or for
device control. Interface with computers using gestures of the human body,
especially hand movements. In Gesture recognition technology, a camera reads
there movement of human hand and communicate to the data to a computer
that user the gestures as input to control devices or applications. Automatic
Gesture Recognition a part of AI (Artificial Intelligence) is gradually increasing with
in all the sectors and has seen dramatic improvements in performance over the
past years, and such systems are now widely used for security, entertainment as
well as in commercial applications. Artificial Intelligence works on machine
learning and this machine learning also have some drawbacks therefore deep
Learning was introduced. It’s basically a part of machine learning but is more
advanced than it. An automated system for human hand gestures recognition in a
real time is quite interactive task, whenever a person wants to send any hand
emoji to another person makes it more interactive with the machine and thus
removes the time for searching the desired emoji in the keyboard. It gradually
decreases the time capturing process of searching any hand emoji in the list of
emojis and then select them which is desired. Through hand emoji recognition,
we can directly recognise the gesture and hence then sends the desired hand
emoji to another person which makes it more interactive for the user. It reduces
the time and using the high accuracy rates it provides the result. Emojinator is just
like this and it allows the computer camera to read the human hand gesture and
provide the desired output which the user wants from the computer and then
send it to receiver.

System requirements
Hardware requirement
• Camera must be positioned in the systems to obtain the snapshots.
• Optimum Resolution: 512 by 512 pixels.
• Secondary memory to store all the images and database.
• System configuration - minimum of 2 GB RAM and 80 GB disk space.
• Operating System – Windows OS 7 or later.
• Processor - 1.8 Ghz or more.
• Graphics card windows 64 bits
Software requirement
• OpenCV (Open-Source Computer Vision Library)
• PyCharm (IDE)

Detail procedure
thus, to overcome the drawbacks of the existing system, the proposed system has
been evolved. This project aim is to improve the interaction between the user and
the machine as well as reducing the time for searching the hand emoji and
providing the real time result within a second. The system provides with the best
user interface. The proposed system works on recognizing the hand gesture and
then matching the gesture with the same hand emoji present in the database. The
working of this system is also faster than the proposed system and there are very
less chances of having mistake while recognizing the hand gesture and providing
the emoji in result. By improving the interaction between the user and machine it
will become easier to work with new technologies

Future Scope and Limitation

Future scope
Ever since the dawn of time, man has worked tirelessly to make life better. With
the advent of computers and the internet, communication and information
transfer has become extremely easy. But there’s always been one common way
of interacting with these machines. Gestures that are processed after they’re
done are called offline gestures. In other words, these are the gestures that don’t
show a real time change. For example, some new smartphones have the option to
open a certain application after a specific gesture is made, this is basically an
offline gesture and that how our model works.
Limitation
The outcomes of the data fed are only verified predictions through various source
and may have scope of inefficiency
