FULL STACK BASED APPLICATION: ONLINE RESUME BUILDER

ABSTRACT
The goal of Online Resume Builder is to automate the existing manual system using computerised equipment and full-
featured computer software to meet their needs, so that their valuable data/information may be stored in the System for
a long time with very easy access and manipulation. A resume often spelt resume or resume, is a document that offers
a summary or listing of relevant employment experience and education. It is also known as curriculum vitae or CV.
When applying for a job, the résumé or CV is usually the first thing a potential employer sees about the job seeker and
is used to assess applications, generally followed by an interview. A well-written and well-designed resume are
critical in the job search process. Our software does the thinking for you and writing for you.
By delivering sophisticated and user-friendly software, Resume Builder makes the job of obtaining a job easier. The
resume structure can be shown in a user-friendly way, allowing you to choose which elements of the CV to publish.
The arrangement of the Published Sections – Biographical Data, Objective, Employment History, Education History,
Personal, Skill Areas, Publications, Summary, and Certifications – can also be changed. Software and hardware
Which are necessary are readily available and simple to use. As previously said, using an online resume builder can
result in an error-free, safe, dependable, and rapid management system. It helps the users to focus on their other work
rather than maintaining track of their records. As a result, the company will be able to make better use of its resources.
The company is able to keep digitised records without Reduntant entries.
That implies you won't be distracted by irrelevant information while still being able to get the information you need.
The goal is to use computerised equipment and full-fledged computer software to automate its existing manual
method, meeting their needs so that their vital data/information can be stored for a longer period of time with easy
modification and access. significantly, our project describes how to manage for good accomplishment and better client
services.

1. INTRODUCTION
The "Online Resume Builder" was created to address the flaws in the traditional practice manual system. This
software is intended to eliminate or, in some cases, minimise the problems that this system is currently experiencing.
Furthermore, this system is tailored to the company's specific requirements for smooth and efficient operations. To
eliminate data entry errors, the programme is kept as simple as feasible. When entering invalid data, it also displays an
error notice. The user does not require any formal knowledge to use this system.
The Resume Should Contain the Following Information Job applicants can pick what information to include in their
resumes, as opposed to filling out an application form. Personal information, personal opening, job objective, career
objective, and description of qualifications are some of the options for categories to include. c) education; d) work
experience; e) scholarships, awards, and honours; f) hobbies and interests; g) readiness to relocate and travel.
Following that, the empirical research literature on what should be included in a resume for each of the
aforementioned areas is examined.
It is a programme that makes the process of making a CV for individuals easier. The method is simple to use and
eliminates the need to consider and construct an appropriate CV based on qualifications. The system was created to
make it simple to create a professional-looking résumé.
As a result, it determines that it is user-friendly. As previously said, using an online resume builder can result in an
error-free, safe, dependable, and rapid management system. It might allow the user to focus on something else instead
of keeping track of their records. As a result, it will assist the business in making better use of its resources.
2. LITERATURE REVIEW
The current system is a manual method in which each task is repeated several times. The resume's format must be
manually changed. The process of sending resumes is done by hand. All of the system's activities that could be
automated are done manually. Because all tasks are completed manually, a large workforce is required. Long ago,
resumes were written by hand using MS Word, and the format was significantly different. In personal information,
candidates used to write their name, address, and phone number, which are the fields that applicants used to specify in
their resumes. In the past, applicants would include their personal opinions in their resumes. Applicants used to give

both their early and recent educational details at that time. Because there were no guidelines defined for the
appropriate length of resumes at the time, applicants used to create either too short or too long resumes.
Our proposed solution automates the resume-building process. This technology allows for online storing, updating,
and retrieval. Customers and viewers/employers can benefit from this system. Everything is stored electronically in
this system, so there is a lot less paperwork and information can be obtained quickly without having to dig through
registers. Certain aspects of our system are not available in the current manual system. They are a planned approach to
working, reliability, no redundancy, immediate information retrieval, and ease of use. What conclusions may be taken
from literature analysis and research on the length of a resume? In a CV, what information should be included? When
drafting a resume, what information should be avoided? Name, address, phone number, and email address should be
included in personal information, but height, weight, religion, birth date, and marital status should be omitted.
Resumes that are one page long are preferred over resumes that are two pages long.
3. METHODOLOGY
The value of a great resume and how to construct formal and eye-catching resumes was outlined in this paper. The
proposed application is quite useful and makes resume creation simple, allowing a person to create a formal resume
without any problems just by utilising this resume builder programme. It is mostly concerned with the format, with
users selecting the desired template and providing some basic information to the application, which the resume builder
app will easily transform into a final resume. Users can use the Online Resume Builder to create resumes with a good
style and the right length. This project was created using VS Code and Google Firebase as development tools. The file
storage and database for Online Resume Builder are handled by Firebase. The Online Resume Builder is simple to use
and can be used on both laptops and desktop computers.
Online Resume Builder's Proposed System:
The suggested system's goal is to provide a system with better facilities. The proposed solution can overcome all of
the existing system's flaws. The method ensures sufficient security while also reducing manual labour.

• Reduce the quantity of data entry that is done manually.
•The amount of time it takes to process data is kept to a bare minimum.

Our proposed solution automates resume creation without the need for any subscription fees. It also includes online
storage, updates, and retrieval.
This system provides features that are currently unavailable in the current system. These are listed below:

• Information retrieval is instantaneous; information storage is instantaneous, and the system is simple to use.

4. CONCLUSIONS
Our project is merely a side project to meet the demands of those who need to manage their project work. Several
user-friendly coding systems have also been implemented. This package will prove to be a great tool in meeting all of
the school's criteria. The goal of software planning is to provide a framework for managers to establish reasonable
estimations within a limited time frame at the start of a software project, and it should be updated on a regular basis as
the project develops.
Finally, we can say that we put an effort into the following aspects...
• A summary of the project's background and context, as well as its relationship to previous work in the field.
• Developed a statement of the project's goals and objectives.
• A description of the purpose, scope, and applicability of the document.
• In the project, we define the problem on which we are working.
• We explain the requirement. The system's specifications and the actions that can be taken on them.
• We comprehend the problem domain and create a system model, which
• defines the operations that may be carried out on the system.
• We provided screen layouts as well as detailed features and procedures.
• We designed the user interface as well as the system's security issues.
Finally, the system is installed and thoroughly evaluated with test cases.
