General instructions
It is important to establish a playful and relaxed rapport with the children to be assessed, via some simple
initial conversation about topics of interest to the child. The child should perceive the following assessment
almost as a game to be enjoyed rather than as a severe situation.
Verbal Consent (See suggested questions inside the box.)
Legend:
-timed task with 60 seconds limit
- untimed task
- assessor’s instruction to be given orally to the learners
-assessor’s comment if the learner was not able to give the correct answer during the practice test
-stops the assessment on the specific task if the time reaches 60 seconds
-stops the assessment on specific task if a learner stops on an item for 5 seconds
