200 – 300 Words
The movie focuses on Bob, a nervous guy in the middle of his college course. One day on
his way home he meets Steve who’s the exactly the same age but is a much more
confident and wittier guy and the two instantly bond. However, what Bob doesn’t know is
Steve is an alternate universe version of himself brought over here by a freak accident
when he was messing around with a machine in the basement of an abandoned science
lab.
Steve is conflicted whether he should tell Bob or keep it a secret while trying to get back
to his own time.
The plans however don’t go well, when they realise they have developed feelings for each
other. This puts Steve in a position of having to reveal to Bob that despite the different
upbringing, they are technically the same person due to the alternate universe where Bob
was swapped at birth.
Bob is shocked but happy he knows why he doesn’t resemble his parents and accepts
Steve and the two of them kiss.
The happiness is short lived when universal anomalies start happening and they both
know what they must do.
By working together, they’re able to reopen the portal knowing Steve needs to return.
Bob and Steve have an emotional kiss goodbye and close the portal together on either
side.
Thanks to the emotion support from Steve, Bob finds it in himself to become a lot more
confident.

Use a wide range of methods and resources (as covered in unit 2).

analyse, interpret, research and evaluate.
