In the first issue titled Josie and the Pussycats, the girls decide to form a
band! Featuring the first appearance of Valerie Smith!

•JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS #45, 1969: "Pussy Footing"


The girls play a concert and premiere their iconic pussycat costumes!

•JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS #49, 1970: "Using His Head"


Alexandra tries to sabotage the Pussycats show with schemeing and
witchcraft in one of the last stories to feature Alexandra as a witch.

•JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS #50, 1970: "Quiet on the Set"


In this tie in with the Josie and the Pussycats TV show on CBS, the girls
travel to Hollywood, where Hanna-Barbera is making a cartoon series
about them!

The Pussycats and the Archies. What could be better than that?
