MODULE # 4 ACTIVITY4
I. Direction: Study the case then answers the question below

Tajima is an earthquake victim. She manages to save all his family members
from the wraths of the disaster. Though she is mentally tough, all her
resources are already gone.
If you were to rank the following needs of Tajima from the most important to
the least important, how would you arrange the following needs? Justify your
answer.

FOOD
COUNSELLING
HOME
MEDICINE
WORK
GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE

Answer:
1. Food – Since she has been saving his family members, she needs to
regain his energy.
2. Medicine – They may have sustained major injuries as a result of the
earthquake and require medical assistance.
3. Home – Tajima and her family need a place to make them feel safe
and warm.
4. Government Assistance – Since she is a survivor, she will require all
of the financial assistance she can obtain in order to start over.
5. Work – Tajima have to get back to her work to pay for all their needs.
6. Counselling – Although she has been described as mentally tough,
she would benefit from counselling to assist her in coping with the
stress and trauma caused by the accident.
II. Suggest 5 ways how people can cope up from disaster.

1. They can talk about the experience they had with other people
to release stress and let people understand what you are
feeling.
2. Spend time with your loved ones. Focus on bonding with them
and you can also share your concerns about the disaster.
3. Focus on self-care. Taking care of your body, mind, and spirit
can help you cope with trauma. Maintain a healthy diet,
adequate sleep, and physical activity.
4. Make an effort to reduce the number of things that cause you
stress. It is important to put yourself in a place where it is going
to be easier to recover.
5. Find a new hobby. You can forget about the stress and trauma
you've been through for at least a short time if you keep
yourself busy and enjoy what you do.
