    PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE

    NATIONAL (ZAMBIA) FLAG


    I pledge allegiance to the flag of the
    Republic of Zambia and to the
    Republic for which it stands, one
    Nation under God, indivisible, with
    liberty and justice for all.

    PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE


    CHRISTIAN FLAG
    I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God’s
    Holy word. I will make it a lamp unto
    my feet and a light unto my path. I will
    hide it’s words in my heart that I may
    not sin against God.

    AY MISSION
    The salvation of youth through Jesus
    Christ. We understand Youth Ministry
    to be that work of the Church that is
    conducted for, with, and by young
    people.

    AY AIM
    The Advent message to all the world in
    my generation.

    AY MOTTO
    The love of Christ compels me.

    AY PLEDGE
    Loving the Lord Jesus, I promise to
    take an active part in the Youth
    Ministry of the church, doing what I
    can to help others and to finish the
    work of the Gospel in all the world.

    OUR THEME:
    “POWER OF ONE”…!
    We are a global movement of destiny,
    united in purpose and mission yet
    diverse in culture, language,
    geography, economy, and heritage. It is
    through the power of Christ and His
    Spirit that we can celebrate Our unity
    in the midst of such diversity. In a
    world of ethnic and national divide,
    this exquisite expression of unity in
    Jesus is the most powerful.

    THE PLEDGE FOR PARENTS


    The greatest school in the world is the
    home. The most important teacher is
    the Parent. Therefore, my highest aim
    is to develop in my child; the likeness
    of our common Father, our Creator,
    and God.
    AY LEGION OF HONOR
    I volunteer now to join the AY Legion
    of Honour and by the grace and power
    of God I will:
    1. Honour Christ in that which
    I choose to Behold,
    2. Honour Christ in that which
    I choose to Listen,
    3. Honour Christ in the choice
    of places to which I go,
    4. Honour Christ in the choice
    of my Associates,
    5. Honour Christ in that which
    I choose to Speak,
    6. Honour Christ in the care I
    give my Body Temple.

    MEANINGS OF AY LEGION OF HONOR

    1-{I will close my eyes to frivolous


    and sinful things}
    2-{My ears are the Lord’s, and I’ll not
    listen to subtle reasoning of the
    enemy}
    3-{I’ll devote my time and thoughts to
    acquiring a fitness for God’s service}
    4-{I’ll not spend precious moments in
    reading that which is of no profit to
    me}
    5-{My voice shall not be subject to a
    will that’s not influenced by the Holy
    spirit}
    6-{My body is the temple of the Holy
    Spirit and every power of my being
    Shall be consecrated to worth pursuits

    ADVENTURER LAW
    Jesus can help me to:
    1. Be Obedient,
    2. Be Pure,
    3. Be True,
    4.Be kind
    5. Be Respectful,
    6. Be Attentive,
    7. Be Helpful,
    8. Be Cheerful,
    9. Be Thoughtful,
    10. Be Reverent.

    ADVENTURER ANTHEM
    We are Adventurers;
    At home, at school, at play
    We are Adventurers,
    We are learning every day,
    To be honest, kind and true,
    To be like Jesus through and through,
    We are Adventurers.

    PF LAW
    The LAW is for me to:
    1.Keep the morning watch,
    2. Do my honest part,
    3. Care for my body,
    4. Keep a level eye,
    5. Be courteous and obedient
    6. Walk softly in the
    Sanctuary,
    7. Keep a song in my heart,
    8. Go on God’s errands

    PATHFINDER PLEDGE
    By the grace of God,
    I will be pure and kind and true,
    I will keep the Pathfinder Law,
    I will be a servant of God and a friend
    to man.
    ADVENTURER PLEDGE
    Because Jesus loves me, I will always
    do my best.
