“All our knowledge has its origins in our perceptions”- Leonardo Da Vinci. Well! I Rutvik
Trivedi am drafting this statement of purpose for a student visa in Canada as a result of that
very same desire. And thankfully I have acquired admission in Post Graduate Certificate in
Human Resource management at Niagara College, Toronto.
Furthermore, since a very tender age, travelling and exploring the world has just brought
sparkle to my eyes. Also, to find out after growing up that requirement of management in
business is in itself an economic wing, just intrigued me to want to pursue it. Hence, Canada
was the only country on my list to achieve global exposure and to add commercial value to
my little desire. I belong to a very tight knit and supporting family, comprising of my parents,
elder brother and me. My Father is an entrepreneur himself and runs a farming business and
my mother aids him in the venture. Both of them have always empowered me with the right
guidance and adequate elements needed for my visions and wishes to come true.
Academic Credentials:
I appeared for my Grade 10th in 2015 from GSHSEB (Gujarat Secondary and Higher
Secondary Education Board) and my 12th in 2017 from a GSHSEB (Gujarat Secondary and
Higher Secondary Education Board) affiliated school and scored 55%. Later I went on to opt
Commerce stream for my undergraduate and got myself admitted in the prestigious GHG-
DDN College, Jamnagar. There too I went on to score 58% in the exams and completed my
Graduation. However apart from academics I also had interest towards sports and cultural
activities. In fact, I was one of the best basketball player of my college and even went on to
represent my college at national level intercollege basketball tournaments for 5 times in a
row. But I think my teachers have played a huge part in developing my leadership qualities
and adaptability skills as they would always encourage me to participate in such competitions
and thus enhancing my overall personality. I also took the IELTS exam in November 2021
and scored 7.0 overall bands with 7.0 in reading,6.0 in writing and speaking and 8.0 in
listening. Though I have gained my education in English as the first language and hence I
have a high proficiency with the language.
The boon of 21st century is the connectivity and telecommunications, and thanks to it, almost
everyone is aware and acquainted to different parts of world. I too aspire to explore the world
via virtual mediums and have acquired knowledge on many countries and destinations.
However, since the time I remember there’s only one country that has caught my attention
and that is Canada. It indeed is the home for architecture, arts and engineering, and also is the
melting pot of varied cultures. Canada is also a favourite international hub for education and
rightly so, because it comprises world’s best universities and educational institutes. In fact,
one can find a suitable desired course in any field, ranging from arts to computer sciences.
Furthermore, Canadian degree and diplomas are recognised and are trusted worldwide.
Though the most attractive point for me to study in Canada is the skill development based
educational system. Because studying in India has always been theory based and not practical
knowledge based. And that has always been a challenge for Indian students to flourish, but as
per my research about the education there, it happens to be the opposite. In fact they prepare
you for the real world and encourage you to gain practical knowledge. Another major point is
the affordability of Canada compared to other nations like USA ad UK and the work-oriented
atmosphere of Canada is so compelling for someone to explore and learn more. It adds so
much more value for me as my field is Human Resource and to study that in the place of
various Work environments would make me gain the utmost exposure towards a international
business organisation. However, despite of being vastly culturally varied, it also is one of the
safest and friendliest destinations for an international student. Lastly, Canada has one of the
most beautiful extensively spread of landscapes in the world that ranges from beaches to
mountains.
Coming to the Educational institute, Niagara College in Toronto is one of the oldest college
campuses to open of the very ancient and prestigious colleges of the globe. Niagara has a
line-up of a vast majority of diploma, baccalaureate degrees and advanced level programs. It
has also been recently partnered up with Toronto School of Management to provide four
business programs at Toronto School of Management campus. Apart from the educational
aspect of it, Niagara College is also the home to Niagara Knights, members of the Ontario
Colleges and Canadian Colleges Athletic Associations (OCAA & CCAA) with a indoor and
outdoor athletic centre providing top of the line equipment and training facilities for someone
intrigued towards sports. All these factors add up to it being the best and perfect fit for me.
Majoring in Human Resource Management has been my only vision to make a living in. It
is indeed one stop solution in the field of commerce and is one of the highest growing fields
due to globalization of business organisations. As per my research, it specializes in various
areas of a business environment which include finding, recruiting, selecting and training the
ideal employees to ensure that the organization is able to achieve success through them.
Human Resource is a product of documenting ways of creating business values
through managing the workforce in a strategic manner. There are more than a million
HR practitioners worldwide and it is one of the most respected career choices out
there. Average growth rate for Human Resource is expected to be around 9% from
2020 to 2030 which accounts for 15,000 job openings each year on an average. This
results in there being plenty of opportunities for me to flourish in this ever-evolving
career. Human Resource Management will be a major milestone for me to achieve my
best potential in. The subjects covered will provide with more skillsets on Business
Management and interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
Sponsorship Details:
My entire expenditure of my education, and other expenses like traveling accommodation, are
to be sponsored by my father; Mr. Girish Trivedi .He is financially strong and can easily
manage all my costs. I have paid my fees in advance for the entire year to the college.
Going ahead, I feel after receiving the degree, plethora of arenas would open up for me. As I
mentioned earlier that it is one of the most promising field to make a career in, the job
profiles that would be open for me range from Technical Recruiter, Change Consultant,
Training and Development Manager, Employee Relations Manager up to Chief HR Officer or
HR Director. And all these job profiles have huge monetary returns in my country. Thus I
would eventually like to come back to India and initially get job in any of the above-
mentioned positions and after receiving adequate amount of experience, I too would like to
venture into business just like my father. Thus, enhancing the workflow of Business
Organisations in India and contributing towards the Business Organisations.

into the reality. I furthermore assure you that all the information provided is absolutely
