2. If you will be given the chance to develop a certain destination/ attraction, what
development strategies will you apply? Why? Minimum of 2 paragraphs.
Achieving Resilient, Inclusive, and Sustainable Tourism Communities Program. In
addition to its historic and natural value, the TouRIST sites have a strong economic effect on
poverty reduction and future development possibilities. The TouRIST Program will enable us to
coordinate efforts among government agencies and achieve sustainable tourist development. If
I could develop a certain destination/attraction, it would be Bohol. It has seized the chance to
promote itself as an ecotourism attraction. Bohol has high biodiversity. It is home to the tarsier,
the world's smallest monkey, and the mysterious Chocolate Hills. It has wetlands, caverns, and
woods. Mangroves and palms abound in the marshes and beaches. Its corals are abundant with
aquatic life. According to my research, the largest mangrove reforestation effort in Asia is in
Banacon, and whales and dolphins play in the seas of Pamilacan Island.

Bohol has made ecotourism a priority. To combine tourism and environmental

management, I will create a Bohol Ecotourism Development Program. A premier eco-cultural
tourism destination and a powerful agro-industrial province. These ecotourism businesses will
help struggling families, particularly those involved with people's groups, earn a living. The
program spent money. On Pamilacan Island, the tour operator received life jackets, snorkeling
gear, a tent, and information. A rain catchment was constructed. Visitor facilities include a
kitchen, guardhouse, and washrooms. As a result, we are increasingly conscious of the need to
save endangered animals. Also by cleaning up rivers and waterways, we have boosted the
marine harvests. Municipal and barangay tourist councils have grown in number, increasing
possibilities to promote ecotourism. Better and mutually beneficial links among NGOs, LGUs,
government institutions, and people's groups have made dormant communities active.
