Boxes shall be designed so that recycling does not occur when a box-

C Manual Pull Station - Installation

Inspection: Unless otherwise permitted by 14.3.2 visual inspections


shall be performed in accordance with the schedules in Table 14.3.1 (see
Attachment 1) or more often if required by the authority having jurisdiction.
Devices or equipment that is inaccessible for safety considerations (e.g.,

C1 continuous process operations, energized electrical equipment, radiation,

and excessive height) shall be permitted to be inspected during scheduled
shutdowns if approved by the authority having jurisdiction. Extended
intervals shall not exceed 18 months.

Concurrent operation of at least four boxes shall not result in the loss of SAES-B-014

Where connected to a supervising station, fire alarm systems employing
automatic fire detectors or waterflow detection devices shall include a
manual fire alarm box to initiate a signal to the supervising station. SAES-B-014
