Channel Strategy and Distribution Network
Distribution is crucial in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Company must
choose the right strategy to make its products available to everyone.
The main objective for FMCG company is to make its products available in the most outlets
and to ensure that there is no stock out of the products. For the same reason, shelf space plays
an important role in establishing visibility. Dabur has built a large distribution network over
the years. Its manufacturing plants, distributors, and retailers all play a role in Dabur's
marketing mix promotional strategy. The product is available not only in India, but also in
other countries.
Dabur has manufacturing plants all over India. Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya
Pradesh are the main locations.
