    “That’s What is like in the Movies”


    People have been confined to this materialistic mindset where we would always
    need to have what others has or what is the current trend for us to feel that we belong
    inside a community. But what do we need to purchase such commodities? I know, you
    know, what is the answer to that it’s money. If you have that financial flexibility your
    social status would go over to the roof and who doesn’t want to live a comfortable life,
    right? To gain money some of us even apply for two jobs, just to meet the most basic
    entities that we need to continue living in this Earth, some also tries to put up a business
    because who doesn’t want to be their own boss, you have all the time in the world to kill
    and you earn money without being shackled to a cubicle and in front of a computer for
    eight hours or more. But sadly, not all business makes it and most of the time it breaks.
    Movie houses aren’t that magical anymore. One of the businesses that doesn’t
    make it the competitive business field are the traditional movie houses where you’d
    have to line-up and get that iconic admit one ticket. Some of the famous movie houses
    here in the Philippines have shut down due to the technological advancements that we
    are experiencing today. Not just that, due to international services that have been
    providing us the services to watch movies in our very own homes, movie houses have
    become irrelevant and their existence would not post as a threat to this service
    providers since their prices have been competitive. Who would have thought that in a
    touch of a single finger you could already stream a blockbuster movie? or a single
    device can store a thousand of films in your pocket? Technology have been living up to
    its name since day one but it’s killing some industries that might have been the only
    reason why a certain family has food on the table. But in todays time, due to the
    COVID-19 pandemic people have been craving a different experience in streaming their
    movies, just like what they did in the mall of Asia, they’ve recently opened a drive-thru
    cinema where you can watch a movie in your own car which takes us way back during
    the 90’s. I think movie houses would survive this everchanging battlefield if they offered
    streaming with one of a kind experience because that would be their edge and if they
    succeed in pulling that off then maybe they’ll be relevant once again.
    Like I said putting up a business can be really tough. Some people say hard work
    will pay off sooner or later but I will you still be able to enjoy that by the time you achieve
    it. One of the most prolific industry today is logistics since people would other from one
    place to another and due to this pandemic, everyone has been confined in the four walls
    of their houses that is why they need people to get their stuff and deliver to whomever
    they have sent it to. It is great, since it is a profitable it directly matches the cost to the
    pricing for the services that will be rendered by those people and the demand for
    logistics is quite high as well. There have been many players in this industry and some
    doesn’t make it since the cost of transporting varies from one place to another plus the
    prices of gasoline have been in a spike plus the labor of the drivers, but if a company
    would be able to regulate the overall costing of their drivers then success would not be
    bleak for them and they might have a big shot in the long-run. You see we need to put a
    business and thrive within the field that we are entering because life isn’t like a movie
    and we have to start living in the reality.
