If you’re wondering who I am and what will I do on this platform then I’ll gladly
explain. First of all, this is not a pyramid scam so everyone can be rest assured that no
one will leave with their pockets empty, instead I hope that everyone can be more
informed about the topic that I will discuss. To everyone here I am James Buenviaje 19
years of age and the reason I am here is because of how scary social media is. To back
you up on what is Social Media. Social media is computer-based technology that
facilitates the sharing of ideas, thoughts, and information through the building of virtual
networks and communities. With how our technology is evolving, Social Media is now
accessible to everyone even your Grandma uses it, so it is safe to say that social media
is the center of this generation, but is it safe for everyone?
To answer everyone. No social media is not for everybody even adults have
struggles using it. In fact, it is also considered as one of the harmful elements of society.
The oversharing on social media can be dangerous. It can attack our privacy. Also,
overusing leads to spending too much time on social media which can deviate children
from their studies. Sometimes fake news is also spread with its help disturbing the
people.
Thank you!

No two individuals, not even twins, are exactly alike. We are all different even if
__we__ (us, we, ours) belong to the same cultural group, __and__ (so, yet, and) that is
a fact. We have __distinct__ (meaningful, distinct, exciting) experiences, backgrounds,
interests, levels of education, __jobs__ (foods, recreations, jobs), and so on. We vary in
__our__ (our, ours, their) association with others. We do not __read__ (browse, read,
consult) the same books nor travel to __the__ (the, those, these) same places. But no
matter how __dissimilar__ (alike, comfortable, dissimilar) we are in many ways, we
__must__ (must, can, will) still understand the message of commercials __and__ (and,
plus, also) advertisements we see around us. In __other__ (these, those, other) words,
as members of just one __cultural__ (cultural, distinct, particular) group, we are
exposed to the __same__ (many, same, common) words whose meanings we share
and __use__ (perceive, understand, use). Since words are signs, we, therefore,
__interpret__ (use, interpret, know) the same signs that are organized __in__ (for, by,
in) codes of the language common to __us__ (us, ours, many) and our culture.
It is then __somewhat__ (not, very, somewhat) surprising for us to use our
__signs__ (signs, language, dialect) meanings, and codes in interpreting another
__language__ (language, code, variety) like English. Because of this transfer __in__
(of, in, for) linguistic forms and meanings, we usually __end__ (end, sign, break) up with
funny misinterpretations and mistranslations.
