1. Bar Screen: Bar Screen is proposed to install barscreen chamber before the collection
tank to remove the floating materials etc.

2. Collection / Equalization tank : Equalization of effluents is essential to make a

uniform mixture for further treatment. Air grid is providede in the collection tank for
equalization and to avoid septic.

3. Aeration System is Biological treatment process where Oxygen from air is transferred
to the liquid with the help of Air Grid or Diffusers in the Aeration Tank.

4. Settling Chamber: After Aeration in the aeration tank, the effluent will be sent to
settling, Where solid liquid seperation is taken place in the Settling Chamber. The Settling
Chamber is provided with Feed well assembely. The Bottom portion is with sufficient
slope to ensure accumulation of suspended solids. There are no moving parts in this
section.
5. Sludge Handling: A Sludge pump is provided to periodically remove the Solids
accumulated at the bottom of Settler Chamber. The Sludge is pumped to Sludge Drying
beds. The dried sludge will be reused as manure by mixig wih fertilizer for Landscaping /
Gardening .

6. Tertiary Treatment ( Filtration Unit ). The water from the settling chamber is collected
in the filter feed collection tank and passed through sand and carbon filters in series. The
first filter has a specific combination of medias like Gravels, Pebbles, Filtration Sand to
ensure proper filtration.
7. Chlorination : The System is provided with chlorination for effective disinfection.
