Tourism Management System
INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this document is to present a detailed description of the Tourism

management System. It will explain the purpose and features of the system, the interfaces of
the system, what the system will do, the constraints under which it must operate and how the
system will react to external stimuli. This document is intended for both the stakeholders and
the developers of the system.
The Tourism Management System project is an implementation of a managing

Tourism website which helps the customers to search the availability of various tourist places
and prices of various hotel rooms in particular places, along with the different packages
available with the reservations. This project also covers various features like online
registration of the users, modifying the details of the website by the management staff or
administrator of the website, by adding, deleting or modifying the customer details or
packages information. In general, this website would be designed to perform like any other
Tourist management website available online.
There has been a huge development in information technology recently. Tourism

activities enabling people from different countries and cultures to interact with each other.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed system is a web based application and maintains a centralized repository
of all related information. The system allows one to easily access the relevant information
and make necessary travel arrangements. Users can decide about places they want to visit and
make bookings online for travel and accommodation.
To Create User Friendly Web site for Customer To Destination Information for Customer.
To Generate Different Types of Reports.
To Provide the Option of Book your Own Trip For Customer.
To Provide package Details.

1. ADMINISTRATOR MODULE:
This module provides administrator related functionality. Administrator manages all
information and has access rights to add, delete, edit and view the data related to places,
travels, routes, bookings, etc.

The ‘administrative user interface’ concentrates on the consistent information that is
practically, part of the organizational activities and which needs proper authentication for the
data collection. These interfaces help the administrators with all the transactional states like
Data insertion, Data deletion and Data updation along with the extensive data search
capabilities.
2. User:
The user interface’ helps the end users of the system in transactions through the
existing data and required services. The operational user interface also helps the ordinary
users in managing their own information in a customized manner as per the included
flexibilities.

proposed Online Tourism Management System Project reduces human resource required –
labour (agents), wastage of time and proves to be very economical in the long run. This
project can be further enhanced to provide better flexibility and performance with certain
modifications whenever necessary. It decreases the cost and time of maintaining a book. It is
very easy to use and it is very less time consuming. It is very easy to debug also.
