The document discusses using Dale's Cone of Experience model to design instructional activities for students. The teacher plans to choose direct experience activities that allow students to learn by doing. They will use real objects and engage students in hands-on learning to enrich the textbooks. Both digital and non-digital materials like real objects, music, and videos will be used to involve students' multiple senses and provide richer learning experiences aligned with the Cone of Experience model.

Cainong Module 5 LESSON 1 ( ACTIVITY 1)
1. Where will the student's experience with this instructional resource fit in? The students experience with this instructional resource fit in Dale's cone of experience. According to Dale’s Cone of Experience (1946), the base of the cone is characterized by more concrete experiences, such as direct experiences (real-life experiences), contrived experiences(interactive models), and dramatic participation (role plays). 2. What kind of learning experience will you choose for your students? As a teacher of 21st century learners who is more active and advance I will use the Dale's cone of experience because as I've research, I found out how helpful these experience or strategy in teaching. According to Dale (1969), instructors should design instructional activities that build upon more real-life experiences. Dale’s Cone of Experience is a tool to help instructors make decisions about resources and activities. To be more specific,I will choose the direct purpose experience. Direct experiences are basically what the students can learn by doing it. This way of teaching is known to be the most effective way of teaching the students because experiences are the best teacher. 3. How will you use the ideas in the cone to enrich your textbooks? I believe that I achieve learning outcomes more effectively in anexperiential based course than in a traditional course. Therefore I will use the ideas in the cone to enrich the textbooks by making the textbook an active instructional materials. I will provide materials that can help students learn by doing and learning it on their own. For instance, we will not just read what was written in the book or we will not just learn what are the five senses. Instead I will provide real materials for them to understand more the five senses. Most especially with the use of the Dale's cone of experiences. 4. What instructional materials ( digital and non-digital) will you use to enrich your students' learning experiences? I will use real objects for my instructional materials or I will engage my students in the outside world. Then if there are music or videos that need in learning I will use the technology for them to understand more the lesson and enrich students' learning experiences. 5. How many sense will your students employ when you use instructional material taken from a band of the cone? In using instructional material from a band of the cone the students will probably use all of their senses. Since one of the principles on the cone of the experience is to have the opportunity for a learner to use a variety of several senses is considered in the cone. One of the experiences in cone of experiences is the direct experiences which allows us to use all our senses.
