IV. PROCEDURES:
A. Motivation:
 Show a picture of a kitchen with an electric range or freezer or electrical appliances.
Ask: What do you think is the total length of the conduits and electrical wires used in that part of the house (kitchen)?
Why did you say so? What’s the basis of your answer?
B. Presentation:
 Present the lesson by showing an example of an electrical plan.
C. Lesson Proper:
 Activity No. 1:
Group the class into 3. The group will be given a situation where they will make a diagram of it. Their 1st task is to make
a pictorial diagram, schematic diagram, line diagram and actual connection diagram. The next task is for them to describe
or discuss the function of each diagram. (Refer to the Activity sheet)
They will be given 20 minutes for the activity, then, reporting will follow afterwards.

 Post-Activity Discussion: Rubics for rating

1. How did you find the activity? Activity/Evaluation
2. What are the symbols used in making the diagram? Rating
3. Why electrical symbols are necessary in making electrical diagram? Preciseness/accurateness 70%
Correct use of electrical
D. Generalization: symbols
 How important is the wiring diagram in electrical installation? Neatness 20%
Timeliness 10%
E. Evaluation: TOTAL 100%
In a group of 5 members, make an electrical diagram of three (3) lamps individually controlled by a single pole switch.

V. Assignment:
