 Introduction

Travel and Tours Industry has the status of the world’s largest industry and its

phenomenal growth is showing no signs of stopping. This industry is enjoying an

unprecedented and consistent growth with each passing year. But with non-stop

growth comes cut-throat competition and this industry is no exception by any means.

This industry is one of the most competitive businesses across the globe and thus,

the survival and sustenance has become increasingly tough for the existing big-

guns as a new entrants.

Since we are living in a technology driven world, our preferences for tourism are also

changing. Gone are the days when people consulted with the travel counselors for their

tourism destination and various packages. Today, travelers use internet extensively to

gather the information about the various destination and offers.

To manage the ever-growing volume and quality of tourism traffic effectively, the rapid

growth of the travel industry requires sophisticated information technologies (IT’s). The

studies undertaken have shown that today’s consumers ask for a higher quality in travel

services, products and information. What they actually look for is the value for their

money. IT’s are being employed extensively in every industry right now and with

surging demand and the arrival of new tourism services and products, the tourism

industry too is feeling the need of the hour. And with the internet as the facilitator, the

players are up the task. In a different way, the internet functions as a new channel for

communication and distribution channel for e-travellers and suppliers of travel services

and products. The internet is also helping the tourism business to improve its

operations and efficiency.

The Domestic Travel and Tours Reservation System is a program produced for the

clients of Region Travel & Tours Business Company to make the reservation

transactions easier and reliable. Upon the completion of this research the system will

help the client that will use the reservation system. The system supports personal

account login so clients will have their own access to the system. The main purpose of

having this system is to make the process of reservation way easily and less time

consuming.

Experimental Details

The Domestic Travel and Tour Reservation System is produced for the Region Travel

& Tours business strategy revolve around the need to provide quality service to their

various target customers, in the process of fully satisfying their needs and having the

authority to put their travel information like tour packages, travel date, departure,

accommodation fees, destinations etc,

As we pursue our studies on this system, we therefore conclude that having a system

like Domestic Travel and Tours Reservation System, facing so many immigrants,

foreign and local visitors to our wonder nature. This study is to be kept and create a

new way how to handle them and give them a nice and memorable travel in our

country.

And still we want to create a system for this kind of business in case some company

needs a backup system. That is why we chose this kind of system and come up with the

idea of creating the Domestic Travel and Tours to help many future businesses and

clients have their access to the system and reserve their travel systematically.

The Body

The study developed the Domestic Travel and Tours for the Clients of Region Travel
& Tours.

The result of this study would be beneficial to the following persons as for this

concerned:

To the Client: This system will provide the client to have their own access to the

system to reserve their travel and meet their satisfaction.

To the Admin: The system will provide an easy way of tracking the transactions that

has been put by the clients and make his/her work easy, reliable and less time-

consuming.

The Domestic Travel and Tours Reservation System provide a budget

friendly tour packages. It is a reservation system that is created as accessible,

reliable and easy to understand for clients use.

IT professionals create several ways to enhance or upgrade the tourism

industry. One of those ways is to have a booking system or a reservation system

that is being used by travel companies to offer and promote their tour packages,

whether local or international. It is also being use by some companies to assist

their local and foreign travellers.

IT's have become a need of the hour for the tourism industry and their

survival depends solely on it. Information technology is finding its use

everywhere. Tourism Industry is pretty dynamic in its nature and its phenomenal

growth over the years has made sure that this industry is bound to become very

competitive in the future. New entrants will enter the market and challenge the

existing players. On the other hand, existing players must find a way to fight the

enthusiasm of the new entrants as they will come with new strategies and

unbeatable offers to gain a strong foothold in an already crowded industry.

Existing firms should overhaul their marketing strategies and upgrade their

system, as well as their packages as soon as possible to remain in line on this

competitive market..
 RECOMMENDATION

The following statements are the recommendations of the researchers after knowing

the results of the survey:

1. We recommend the Domestic Travel & Tours as well as other Travel agencies to

have their own reservation system to make the work easier and also to become

more productive in terms of serving clients.

2. We would also like to recommend a program that will help the clients to have

knowledge about the reservation system so that whenever they plan a trip they

already know where to consult.

3. We recommend this reservation system to every travel agency companies to

help their transactions become easier.

4. For the future researchers, we recommend you to improve our programs

features that will help your respondents in reserving their travel.
