CGA LCD controller card for IBM PCs

(RS stock no. 564-116)
Functionality
An 8 bit half slot plug-in PC bus expansion card that drives
640 3 200, 640 3 400, and 320 3 200 LCD panels in CGA
(Computer Graphics Architecture) mode.
Backwards compatible with all pre-CGA PC software
standards – MDA (Monochrome Display Architecture), 80 3
25 character modes etc.
8 levels of grey scales are available in CGA mode.
Notes:
1. Software adjustment will be required for 320 3 200
displays to allow scanning of 320 pixels. To operate with
RS line panels (RS stock no. 564-071) a link must be fitted
at point LK1. The card is factory set for single screen
operation. A link must be fitted at point LK2 for dual screen
operation. The screen refresh rate may be set using LK3.
Linking pins 1 and 2 sets refresh rate to 70Hz, linking pins
2 and 3 sets refresh rate to 60Hz.
2. For further details please refer to the user manual supplied
with the unit.
