On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is indeed a great honour and privilege for
us to invite you to “The 12th Liver Update and The Annual Scientific Meeting of INA
ASL/PPHI 2019” which to be held from 21st – 23rd March 2019 in Ritz Carlton-Mega
Kuningan-South Jakarta, Indonesia. The theme is Comprehensive Management in
Hepatobiliary Disorders & Related Disease.

The symposium is organized by Division of Hepatobiliary, Department of Internal

Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia/Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo
National General Hospital and Indonesian Association for the Study of the Liver
(Ina ASL).

Liver Update is organized annually has allows us in digesting and harvesting the
practical knowledge we need to know and practice and also allow us to keep our
mind open for the new development in Hepatopancreatobiliary medicine and
surgery. Please mark your calendar on 21st - 23rd March 2019 and kindly prepare the
abstract of your research to be presented in this important meeting.

number, email address and fax number. Name(s) of presenting author and co-authors:
first name(s) or initials of first name(s), family name (e.g. Ali Sulaiman or A. Sulaiman).
Affiliation details of all authors: department; institution/hospital; city; state (if relevant);
country.

STRUCTURE
The abstract title should be in initial capital/ lower case (not all capitals). Abstracts for
original articles should include 1) background/aims, 2) methods, 3) results and 4)
conclusions. For case reports, abstracts should include introduction and case description/
Word limit: 250 words including acknowledgement. Do not include references in the
abstract. Do not include key words in the abstract. Abbreviation should be spelled out, in
parentheses, with its first use in the text.

All abstracts submitted will be automatically edited according to The 12th Liver Update &

GUIDELINES
Presenters are required to stand next to their posters
during the designated lunch-time as well as during the morning
and afternoon coffee breaks, for informal discussions,
on the scheduled date indicated in the notification email.

Authors will be able to keep their poster by removing it

from the poster board between 18:00 and 19:00
on the day when the poster is displayed.

1. A panel width 80cm(W) x 120cm(H) will be provided

for each poster as following example.
2. Presentation number will be prepared by secretariat.
3. Title and present author’s name are required
to prepare by each presenter.
4. Pins for display will be provided at each poster panel
5. Poster Reception Desk will be located at the Poster Area.
6. Please come to the Poster Reception Desk
to check in before you can put up your Poster.

REGISTRATION RULES
Registrations will be made via Online Registration System. Please read the following
information before completing an online registration form.

2. Complete the Registration Form, choose between regular rate or

4. Registration will be confirmed after receiving full payment. Those who do

not receive a confirmation notice before the congress are requested to
contact the registration secretariat at [email protected].
Only participants who complete their registration will be included in the
program.
5. The date of payment is decisive for the registration fee. Even if the
registration form is received before the early bird or pre conference
deadline, it will not be considered as early or pre conference registration
if the payment has not been received before the deadlines.

● Requests for registration cancellation must be received in writing by the 12th LIVER UPDATE
2019 Registration Secretariat by fax at +6221-3918842,
or via e-mail to [email protected].
● Cancellations received before or on 31 January 2019 – an administrative fee
of IDR 1.000.000 will be applied.
● Cancellations received on or after 28 February 2019 – NO REFUND.
Please note that registration refunds will be processed within 30 days after the end of The 12th Liver Update and The Annual
Scientific Meeting of Ina ASL/PPHI 2019, bank charges will be deducted from the refund.

5. Please make your reservations early; bookings are on a first-come first-served
basis and confirmation is subject to availability.

7. All room rates are inclusive of governmental tax, service charged, and breakfast
for 2 (two) people.
8. Deadline for hotel reservations is 28 February 2019. For reservation requests after the
deadline date, Committee may not be able to guarantee any available rooms with
the above-mentioned room rates.
9. Rooms will be reserved only after receiving one night deposit or bank transfer,
and will be confirmed after receiving full payment. Payments should be
completed before or on 28 February 2019. If the payment is not completed until
that date, only one night reservation will be kept and the remaining unpaid
nights will automatically cancelled.
10. For reservation requests on or after 28 February 2019, full payment by bank
transfer will be required for confirmation. This is valid for individual bookings.
11. Hotel check-in time is 14:00 and check-out time is 12:00. Late checkout prior 6
pm will be charged 100% from room rate charge will be applied.
12. If you expect to arrive earlier than the check-in time and require guaranteed
check-in on arrival, please make your hotel reservations for the day before.
13. NO SHOW Rules will be charged automatically based on guaranteed
reservation.
