us to invite you to “The 12th Liver Update and The Annual Scientific Meeting of INA
ASL/PPHI 2019” which to be held from 21st – 23rd March 2019 in Ritz Carlton-Mega
Kuningan-South Jakarta, Indonesia. The theme is Comprehensive Management in
Hepatobiliary Disorders & Related Disease.
Liver Update is organized annually has allows us in digesting and harvesting the
practical knowledge we need to know and practice and also allow us to keep our
mind open for the new development in Hepatopancreatobiliary medicine and
surgery. Please mark your calendar on 21st - 23rd March 2019 and kindly prepare the
abstract of your research to be presented in this important meeting.

STRUCTURE
The abstract title should be in initial capital/ lower case (not all capitals). Abstracts for
original articles should include 1) background/aims, 2) methods, 3) results and 4)
conclusions. For case reports, abstracts should include introduction and case description/
Word limit: 250 words including acknowledgement. Do not include references in the
abstract. Do not include key words in the abstract. Abbreviation should be spelled out, in
parentheses, with its first use in the text.
FORMAT
All abstracts submitted will be automatically edited according to The 12th Liver Update &
The Scientific Meeting of Ina ASL/ PPHI 2019 submission format. It is the responsibility of the
authors to review the submission and avoid any typing errors on the abstract. Use Italics
only when appropriate (e.g., for the name of genus and species). To avoid character
corruption, please use only Times New Roman or Symbol font.

• CD-R, CDRW or USB Flash drive are the media being supported.
For Macintosh users please immediately check your presentation in the Speaker Ready
Room as soon as you arrive to make sure all fonts and video clips are present in the form they
were created. Don’t forget to bring your own cable connector (if you want to use your own
macbook to the projector). The projector’s screen resolution is set at 4:3 XGA. Please make
your PPT data the necessary preparation if needed. (16:9 XGA is also projectable with a size
smaller, black flamed at the top and bottom).
