Customer Service

Foundations of Training Delivery

The Flybe Training Academy offers three Customer

Service training courses all of which are suitable for
employees dealing with internal and external customers
on a regular basis.

This five day course has been designed to help with the
necessary skills, knowledge and self-awareness needed in
order to deliver training courses with competence and
confidence. Participants will explore and expand their
understanding of how different behaviours can affect
individuals in a group by looking at group dynamics.
Trainers also give participants the opportunity to deliver
two practice sessions and to practice giving and receiving
feedback.

Foundations of Customer Service (bespoke)

This one day course promotes a greater understanding
of customer behaviours and encourages participants to
identify the key factors that lead to customer satisfaction
whilst focusing on customer service and the effect that
this has on company success.
Bespoke courses are available for group bookings
(maximum of 10 people) and we are able to select
existing modules to suit your exact requirements.
WorldHost Principles of Customer Service (generic)
The Flybe Training Academy now offers a new generic
Customer Service training programme to help staff
working in the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism
sector develop excellent customer service and sense of
place skills.
This one day generic course is highly interactive, uses
up to date learning resources and moves at a pace that
retains and stimulates the learner.
WorldHost Insights
This short course developed by People1st provides an
insight into the good practices covered by the WorldHost
programmes. The flexible nature of this online course
enables the 6 modules to be completed in bite-sized
chunks followed by an online assessment.

Human error is widely acknowledged as a major cause of

quality, production and safety risks in the workplace. This
course will explain the underlying reason why humans
make mistakes and how they can be prevented. Topics
covered will include; why human error is a factor in all
accidents; why humans make mistakes and proven error
prevention techniques; how to analyse and identify
human errors and the conditions and situations that cause
them and how to improve and optimise procedures,
workplace design, process design, human performance
and more.

Telephone Techniques
This course enables delegates to confidently and
effectively communicate with customers using the
telephone. Suitable for individuals who wish to improve
their telephone skills and provide an excellent customer
service and anyone who would like to increase their
confidence to project a professional image when dealing
with people by telephone.
