MACHINE SHOP:Various machineries are available in this section for manufacturing various part of
pavers machine such as:
CNC Turing Center lathe.
For manufacturing of baring hosing, collar, shaft making etc.
Lathe Machine.
For manufacturing shaft, collar for shafting, chain wheel parts etc.
Colman type redials Drilling machine.
Operation performs Drilling on: Hab, Worm staff, warm plate, chain wheel &type,
square cover and hab of gearbox etc.
Redial Drilling machines.
Drilling on plate on gear box, coaole-2, plate & strippers to join engine, hydraulic
cylinders joint hook, hoppers chimney hooks etc.
Milling machine.
For milling machine various parts of paver machine assembly such as:
Shaft collar, round plates,
Key way willing machine.
Operation performs: key way for shaft & external dial & on any circular round bar,
Shapping machine.

Personnel management is concerned with managing People who are working in the
organization. It covers all of personnel including workers and officer. The aim of personnel
management is to get better result with their effective collaboration and active involvement in
the organization. It means personnel management is concerned with influencing, advising
directing, reading, and communication the employees towards the organization goal and
achieving this goal promptly.
During our in Apollo industry, I found that there is a separate department for human
resources management i.e. personnel department which performs the function like personnel
administration, wages, salary, staffing, training, recruitment & selection, personnel records. Mr.

certain procedure for selection of employees, Selection process varies from post. Selection
process starts from application received then after holding preliminary, interview, and

Apollo Industrial Products Ltd. has not particular procedure for selection. It selection
employees based on recruitment in each dept. and for this they contacts some contractors for
the require manpower.
Company also selects student as employees direct from the colleges in management

The new comers have to take the training for one or to year, if they are unknown of the work in
Apollo Industrial Products Ltd. there is no separate training department. The training is given
in the factory hour time. During the training, their performance judged, if the performance of
employees is satisfied their employees are taken in the permanent staff of the company.
Company sends employees in a Broad too for training at company's cost if new change new
comes in.
INDUCUTION
This induction programmed done by this company for the
familiarize the new recruit employee in the company. This induction is depend on is place of

company so for that induction is done with other person, they meet all the department head and
manager. Some time any technical person recruits in the company so thats induction are done
only with this specific department only
PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL
Performance appraisal is the system by which the management tries to find out how effective it
has been hiring and placing the employees. A performance appraisal process of eradiation an
employee's performance of a job in term of its requirement.
Most of the production work done of the bases of the contract. Gujarat Apollo
Equipment Ltd. gives contract to the private contractors for production work. There is very less
workers in company staff engaged in production work compare to contract system. Contractors
appraise employees categorized under contract system are apprised by contractors while staff
employed apprised by company's own supervision. They record the employee's performance
regarding their work ability to do behavior and these records are used in promoting employees.
In case of management staff, performance apprised by each head of department.

office staff. Company also takes in the mind factor like performance, capability of work done,
work accuracy and experiment of emptying, promoting them Apollo Industrial Products

Transfer is the movement of an employees form one job to another without involving any
substantial change in his duties, responsibility, required shifts, status and compensation. But
Apollo Industrial Products Ltd.has no any other Branch; in his company in rare cases
employees are transferred from one job to another job.

extra loan facility. There are total 50 contractors and they are provided wages on daily or
weekly basis.

which describes wage rates and basic condition of labor with trade unions instead of individual
workers.

company gives bonus facility and five day holidays to its workers. The company also gives
public holidays.

A Trade union is a continuous association of wage earners for the purpose of
maintaining or improving the conditions of their working force.

employee directly from the market. This company has required any employee in the
