Jaguar Sales Specialist: Brief includes meeting and exceeding
objectives for new and pre owned car sales while delivering an exemplary
customer experience. Targeted and achieved sales of finance, accessories
and insurance products under the auspices of FSA regulations. Involved in
devising and implementing various imaginative marketing initiatives
resulting in incremental sales in this challenging market. Successful in
positively influencing the sales team in working with new initiatives.
Responsible for account managing and increasing the customer database.
Focused on maximising profit opportunities while maintaining an excellent
level of customer satisfaction. Took on extra responsibilities for
presentation of new and used car displays.

Maranello Sales Ltd (Ferrari & Maserati). Egham, Surrey.
New Ferrari Specialist (Jan 2007 to Dec 2007): High Profile position,
with overall responsibility for achieving sales targets of all New Ferraris for
the dealership (approximately 140 cars in 2007). This was a combination

of flagship V12 models, mainstream V8 models as well as specialist


models. Designed and rolled out a successful strategy that resulted in a
dramatic improvement of the dealership’s CSI scores. Very close working
relationship with the manufacturer. Also introduced and executed
processes to enhance the customer experience of the Brand and
Dealership and managed all the above changes using the resources
already existing at the dealership.
New Ferrari V12 Specialist (July 2006 to Jan 2007): Offered this
newly created senior role to manage the top clients of the company. Due
to the great success in this role from the commercial as well as customer
satisfaction perspectives and after resignation of a key member of staff,
asked to take on more responsibility as the New Ferrari Specialist, above.
Business Manager: (Feb 2006 to Jun 2006): Offered newly created
position after successful completion of 2 week residential course. Set up
new client referral systems and worked very closely managing six sales
executives. This resulted in significant improvements in finance and
insurance penetration and revenue generated per unit. Was offered and
accepted the newly created position of V12 specialist, above.
Maserati Specialist: (Apr 2005 to Jan 2006): Promoted to role of
Maserati Specialist. Initial priority was to raise the profile of Maserati in the
dealership’s marketing area. The ultimate aim of selling more units, more
profitably, utilising existing resources. Also took on the challenge of
improving customer satisfaction scores. With some lateral thinking,
original ideas and pulling together of the dealerships resources, the
objectives set were met and exceeded. In recognition of achievements,
was given the opportunity to progress with the company as a Business
Manager, above.
Ferrari, Maserati and Performance Car Specialist: Established as a
top selling sales specialist at the dealership within two months of joining
the company. Not only successful in selling physical stock vehicles but
also established a very healthy order bank of confirmed orders for future
models by introducing original and effective marketing initiatives.

Bentley Sales Executive: Good progress made very quickly in the new
position by marketing to existing own clientele database, as well us using
the dealership’s own data resources. Tempted to join Maranello, above, by
former colleagues working there, with an offer too good to refuse.

Aston Martin Sales Specialist (Sep 2000 to Aug 2003): Invited to
join as a sales specialist without applying for a position! By applying
experience gained in previous Corporate Sales positions was able to
contribute significantly to the success of the dealership very quickly. At
the point of joining, the dealership was ranked as ninth in the UK for
volume of sales, at the point of leaving, it was the second largest in the
UK. Received a Lancaster group sales award in 2002, for my contribution
and achievements. The success can be attributed partly to creative and
original marketing, as well as hard work and determination, but most
importantly, by applying a totally customer centric approach. Close
working relationship with the manufacturer.

Jaguar Corporate Business Executive (Apr 2000 to Sep 2000):


Responsible for setting up a new corporate sales department from
scratch for a large prestigious dealership. The initial brief was to
increase the footfall of enquiries from business users into the
dealership. Devised a successful sales contact plan to canvass business
from local businesses and rolled out new processes at the dealership to
manage this new source of business. Also instigated and worked on
joint pilot exercises with the manufacturer’s corporate department. In
light of continued and dramatic success in this role, was approached by
the Brand Manager at Aston Martin, above, and offered a position to
work at Aston Martin.

July 1990 to Apr 2000


Trident Garages Ltd (MG Rover). Ottershaw and Woking,
Surrey.
Corporate Sales Manager (April 1998 to April 2000): Promoted in
light of success in previous position, also to take on responsibilities as
an ISO Team Leader and Auditor. Joined the dealership’s “Quality
Action” team of Managers, charged with further improving the
dealership’s CSI ratings.
Business Sales Executive (July 1991 to April 1998): In view of
immediate success as a Sales Executive, promoted to position of Rover
Business Sales Executive and moved to brand new purpose built
premises in Woking, in preference to more senior members of staff.
Briefed with operational responsibilities for managing 6 staff at this
small satellite showroom, and growing the dealership’s portfolio of
Business User clients. Worked on own initiatives as well as pilot and
joint ventures with Rover to dramatically improve the dealership’s
database of Business User and Fleet customers.
Sales Executive/Car Rental Manager (July 1990 to June 1991):
Initially recruited to manage a modest rental fleet, at a family run Rover
dealership. Revenue and turnover dramatically increased within 6 months
of joining. Promoted to Sales Executive, but with added responsibility of
managing the car rental department. Recruited and trained new member
of rental staff.

Airport Terminal Manager: Managed a shift of 15 staff. Duties included
maximising rental revenue returns for the rental fleet, staff motivation
