These are the customer release notes for the current released
Lexmark T654 laser printer firmware, which consists of the
following revisions:

Field Issues and Fixes
1) Added Airprint enhancements.
2) Made various security improvements.
3) Addressed an issue which could lead to inadvertent "Install MICR Cartridge
" messages on the op panel.
4) Addressed an issue that could lead to a 900.00 Firmware Error.
5) Addressed a condition that could lead to an incorrect SNMP deviceInstallDa
te value in the deviceTable.Fixed an issue on the T65x devices in which the user
could not enter the Configuration Menu while the device was in a Non-Continuabl
e Stop IR condition.
6) Addressed an issue where the Supplies Notification Maintenance Kit End-ofLife behavior could inadvertently get set to Non Continuable Stop by installing
certain used fusers into the device.

Functional Enhancements
1) Added AirPrint support (Note: AirPrint and the AirPrint Logo are trademark

2) Added support in the Lexmark Enterprise MIB for the following SNMP tables
(for the device, inventory, and alerts OIDs): deviceTable, hwInventoryTable, sup
plyInventoryTable, swInventoryTable, and deviceAlertTable
3) Added remote Out-of-Service Wipe capabilities.
4) Enhanced the history log header information.
5) Self-signed certificates now meet PCI-DSS requirements.
6) Enabled support for TLS encrypted Thinprint data.
7) Enhanced Unicode font support for multi-national language usage.
8) Made interface changes to allow MVE to access and configure the DDNS Refre
sh Time & DDNS Time to Live.
9) Enhanced the PKI Apps audit logging.
10) Added support for an IO Expander ISP card that can be installed in a prin
ter/MFP and interface to a coin box.

1) Addressed a PCL datastream issue that was resulting in incorrect output.
2) Addressed several emulator issues that led to problems printing some PDF j
obs.
3) Fixed Postscript emulator issues that were leading to incorrect output.
4) Made XPS emulator changes to allow Confidential Job PIN numbers with leadi
ng zeros.
5) Made changes to improve print performance for certain print jobs.
6) Addressed an issue that was leading to 900.32 firmware errors.
7) Addressed some issues that could lead to 900.00 firmware errors.
8) Addressed some issues that could lead to 900.43 firmware errors.
9) Fixed an issue that could lead to a firmware error when using Windows 8.
10) Addressed some issues that were leading to "Auth Settings Corrupt" errors

script error page.

Functional Enhancements
1) Added firmware support for eSF applications related to tracking quotas
2) Added firmware support for external 4-wire solutions via ISP
3) Changed the user configurable DDNS TTL to be in effect all the time, rathe
r than only when there is a static IP
4) "Warm-up Flushing" - If the printer internal paperpath sensors are not cov
ered after a jam, and continue button
is depressed, sheets left in the paper path will be flushed out to standar
d bin.
eSF Framework (T654 only)
1) Made eSF framework changes required to support newly announced Lexmark Sol
utions Platform
2) Made miscellaneous improvements to firmware framework for eSF apps

network MTU set by the DHCP server.
2) Security related UCF keys can now be imported/exported from the
embedded web server.

6) Fixed an issue caused by an improper HTTP GET request (CVE-2010-0101).
7) Passive FTP connections now time-out after 90 seconds in order to
avoid a potential Denial of Service (CVE-2010-0618).
8) Resolved NULL-pointer dereference in OpenSSL (CVE-2004-0079).
9) Resolved some PJL buffer overrun issues (CVE-2010-0619).
10) Addressed an issue where a 900.31 failure could occur rarely when
updating firmware.

1) Addressed some issues related to using Windows Web Services.
2) Fixed a problem related to IPP printing with Snow Leopard.

1) Fixed an issue could occur when large files were stored on disk.
2) Addressed an issue that could cause power saver timer to fail.
3) Added eSF Support for several new card readers attached to
rear port.
4) Improved UCF functionality for security configuration changes.
5) Fixed issue related to multiple "more info" messages while posting
an intervention required message.
6) Addressed an issue related to idle screen hangs when using eSF apps.
7) Corrected some hard disk issues related to hangs and temporary
reporting of "61 Defective Disk".

1) Fixed a problem that could cause issues trying to print to the
printer from another subnet.
2) Fixed 900.41 error that occurred when canceling an IPDS duplex job.
3) New support for up to 25 Parked Jobs.
4) Added some EWS features related to disk wiping and supply alarm
controls.
5) Various translation fixes and updates.
6) Improved security functionality.
7) Fixed a problem related to 902.80 errors.
