Grouting for Tile Joints
Product Description
Sika Tile Grout is a fine powder, which requires only the addition of water to produce a smooth paste that is suitable for grouting ceramic tiles and similar applications. It contains selected hydraulic binders, organic binder, waterproofing materials, and inert hard aggregates. It is supplied in powder form in six standard colours. Sika Tile Grout is formulated as waterproofing grout suitable for filling tile joints in: Kitchens. Swimming pools, Bathrooms. And similar applications. Easy for application. Waterproofing. Self-cured. Thixotropic, non-slum application. Mould resistance. Ideal for both internal and external applications. It is non-toxic, chloride-free and does not contain any harmful materials. Formulated to be suitable for the Middle East conditions. Sika Tile Grout complies with the requirements of BS 5980. Cement-based grout. Six standard colours: White, brick, red, brown, yellow, green, or black. Special colour can be provided upon request. 4 kg and 25 kg bags In well-sealed containers away from any source of moisture. 12 months if stored properly in well-sealed original containers. 2.0 Kg/l Approximately 100 minutes at 20 C and 45 minutes at 35 C. Consumption will be influenced by the type, size and spacing between the ceramic tiles, but approximately is 0.25 kg/m2. Sika Tile Grout is supplied in powder form, which requires only the addition of water. Add 4 kg of Sika Tile Grout to 1.00 1.20 litre of clean water in a clean vessel and mix until a homogenous, smooth, easy to be applied, free from lumps paste is achieved, in case of 25 kg add 6.25 7.5 litre of clean water. Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Apply Sika Tile Grout to the space between ceramic tiles using a sponge, or piece of soft cloth. Work the paste in to the joints and around the edges. Remove surplus grout from the face of the tile using dry cloth. When the grout is completed, polish tiles with dry cloth Clean all tools & equipment with clean water after finish of work immediately. Hardened materials shall be removed mechanically.

Safety Instructions
Safety precautions Sika Tile Grout is non-toxic, non-flammable and does not contain any harmful ingredients. Dust mask and gloves shall be used during handle. Sika Tile Grout contains Portland cement, so it will produce alkaline material after mixing with water. Avoid skin and eye contact. In case of contamination, wash with plenty amounts of clean water.
