What do the Alfa Stelvio Quadrifoglio, Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin DBX and Bentley Bentayga Speed have in common? They are all super SUVs, that fully express all the distinguishing features of the Sport Utility Vehicle: super-luxury and top performance together with the appeal of a high driving position. But that's not all: they are all fitted with Pirelli tyres, that developed customised tyres for these models.
The speeds of a supercar, the intimacy of a saloon car and the comfort of a lounge, is the choice which an increasing number of drivers are making, and a growing number of brands are opting to move into this sector with new proposals.
ASTON MARTIN DBX
Without a doubt, one of the most anticipated leaders on the super SUV stage is the Aston Martin DBX, the first SUV from the British car manufacturer, still at the testing stage. Pirelli provided P Zero, Scorpion Zero All Season and Scorpion Winter for this model, as well as an excellent ground for testing the nature of its most extreme driving conditions: the DBX's off road performance was tested, with excellent results, on snow and ice covered bends at the Pirelli Sottozero Centre in Flurheden, Lapland.
ALFA ROMEO STELVIO QUADRIFOGLIO RACING
Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, already well-known to lovers of the Alfa Romeo, appeared at the latest Geneva Motor Show with its Racing version and a new look: underlinging its sporting vocation is the P Zero Color Edition in yellow, an outfit borrowed from the Formula 1 tyres. The tribute to motorsport is more than befitting, considering that the Stelvio Quadrifoglio earned its fame as the fastest SUV in the world with a record performance on the Nürburgring. Under the bonnet, the 2.9 litre twin-turbo with 510 HP can reach speeds of 283 km/h.
BENTLEY BENTAYGA SPEED
The super SUV that lays claim to the record of maximum speed, on the other hand, comes from another noble ancestry from across the English Channel on the year of its centenary; the Speed version of the Bentley Bentayga was also showcased in Geneva 2019, with the W12 twin-turbo 635 HP engine that allows it to achieve the incredible speed of 306 km/h.In its usual sophisticated British luxury. BMW X5 AND X6 M

Mercedes-AMG interprets the SUV on a different note, starting from the iconic Classe G with its clear off road leaning that fits Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico and Scorpion ATR, to the 4x4 with city appeal, including the GLC and the GLE, both available in the coupé version and approved with P Zero and Scorpion Winter.
PORSCHE CAYENNE
Lastly, we cannot conclude without mentioning this category's trailblazer; with the Cayenne, Porsche conceived the first super sporting SUV on the market which, since its creation, has been continuously perfected. Top of the range, as is traditional at Zuffenhausen, is the Turbo version that releases 550 HP. To satisfy requirements, Porsche Cayenne can fit P Zero, P Zero Corsa, Scorpion Verde All Season, Scorpion Winter and Ice Zero.
