  • Windows 365 Link is for organizations that have desk-based workers and are using, or are considering using, Windows 365. Windows 365 Link is well suited for enabling secure productivity in shared workspaces such as hot desks, call centers, reception desks, labs, and more.
  • A preview of Windows 365 Link is now available. General availability is planned for the first half of 2025.
  • Windows 365 Link Preview is available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
  • Reach out to your Microsoft account team for more information about how to get Windows 365 Link.
  • Windows 365 Link will have an MSRP of $349 per device once it is generally available in select markets starting April 2025.
  • To use Windows 365 Link, organizations must be using Windows 365 with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID, and meeting existing Windows 365 requirements.
  • Supported editions include Windows 365 Enterprise, Windows 365 Frontline, and Windows 365 Business. Windows 365 Government is not currently supported.
  • Manage Windows 365 Link in the devices section of Microsoft Intune alongside other PCs that you manage.
  • Windows 365 Link is highly performant for video conferencing and video playback due to local processing, and it supports high-fidelity Microsoft Teams meetings.
  • Windows 365 Link works with wired and wireless peripherals, monitors, audio devices, input devices like keyboards and mice, cameras, storage devices, and hubs. Windows 365 Link does not support use with a dock.
  • Windows 365 Link has three USB-A 3.2 ports, one USB-C 3.2 port, one HDMI port, one DisplayPort, 3.5mm headphone jack, an ethernet port, a Kensington lock port, and a port for the power cord. The device also supports Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi.
  • Because the preview of Windows 365 Link is a loan program, there is no warranty support. Once Windows 365 Link becomes generally available, there will be a standard warranty that covers one to two years depending on country of purchase. There will also be options to buy additional coverage for mechanical breakdown and accidental damage up to two to four years, and out-of-warranty repair/replacement service for customers who are no longer covered.
  • If your preview Windows 365 Link device is not working and you would like a replacement, please reach out to your preview contact. Once Windows 365 Link becomes generally available, options for same unit repair and exchange will be provided.
  • Windows 365 Link is a compact and lightweight device that is 120 mm by 120 mm by 30 mm (4.72 inches by 4.72 inches by 1.18 inches), making it convenient to ship direct to users and place on a desk or mount behind a monitor.
  • Windows 365 Link does not support Azure Virtual Desktop or Microsoft Dev Box.
