hello, apologies if this forum is not for checking if a request can somehow be expedited -- we have filed a task on phabricator to create an umbrella for Wikimedia Ukraine. is there a way to know 1) if the request is okay, and the information provided is enough; 2) if there is any ETA for this to happen? we would like to move from trello, and the transition to phabricator is going to take some time, so some ETA would be highly appreciated... again sorry if this is a wrong place to post this

Hi! The machine learning team is wanting to clean up our board a bit and that required deleting some columns (instead of just hiding them). Is it possible to get elevated permissions to do this?

@CAlbon (WMF) Hi, as far as I know deleting columns is not possible.

Apparently (and I have no recollection) I created my account under my then-username "Amatulic" in 2015, and then I was renamed to "Anachronist" in 2016, which renamed me in the other Wikimedia projects except this one. Recently when I logged in as "Anachronist" my account appeared as "Amatulic". I was going to ask that it be changed but it looks like that got done.

My project Tool-paulina ( https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/profile/7320/ ) was created automatically in Phabricator from my Toolforge admin console, but I don't have the permissions to manage my project in Phabricator. I'd like to be able to edit the project's picture, edit the menu, create a workboard and create subprojects for my project.

I'd appreciate some help for this. Thank you in advance!

@AKlapper (WMF) When I created my account, I edited my new profile like it is explained in your link. But actually I renamed my account and I want my new name in my Phab profile, not my dead name. Now my User profile on Phabricator doesn't match with my user account on wikis. But if I click on "Edit profile" it is not possible to change my name! I just can add a "also know as". I don't want it for a lot of personal reasons. I want this link to be available instead of this one. There is not that option (or I can't find it). So, I'm asking for someone else to change my name instead of me (I know it is a stupid task, I really prefer to click on a button and change my name by myself, but I can't) What I have to do to change my account also on Phab? There is not that option?

When trying to access the Herald subpage, it displays an error: Access Denied: Restricted Application You do not have permission to view this object. Users with the "Can View" capability: This object has a custom policy controlling who can take this action.

What does it means and why am I somewhat restricted? What are the requirements?

Hi, the application is restricted (not you) due to past vandalism when anyone could use it. If you think that you have a need to set up automated filter rules via Herald, please elaborate. Thanks a lot! See also Phabricator/Help/Herald Rules for more info.
