The F5 Resident Engineer will be supporting an enterprise DoD environment with a focus on the administration, configuration and troubleshooting of the customers F5 environment, specifically The F5 VIPRION platform as well as leading an enterprise design and migration effort to F5 Virtual Edition. The F5 Resident Engineer will also be tasked with performing a current assessment of the current F5 configuration, help to develop a hybrid cloud architecture via AWS Gov Cloud, on-prem Viprion and F5 modernization, etc. The F5 Resident Engineer will provide SME level ops, maintanance and troubleshooting. Required Skills: 5 years of experience working as an F5 Administrator / Engineer. Experience providing troubleshooting, administration and configuration support of the F5 VIPRION platform. Must have an active Secret clearance. Prior experience supporting the design / migration to F5 Virtual Edition. Experience implementing F5 revision upgrades. Knowledge and experience of networking concepts, protocols and technologies including, TCP / IP, DNS, SSL / TLS, HTTP and routing. Experience with F5 BIG-IP platforms to include, LTM, GTM, ASM, APM and iRules scripting. Preferred or Nice to Have Skills: Some level of F5 certification. Operational experience with other network platforms like Cisco, Palo, etc.

Possess an IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M such as Security + Must attain within 6 months. Experience in or willingness to learn installation/troubleshooting of end user devices such as VOIP phones, Teleconferencing equipment, AVMM/conference rooms, printers, desktop computers, other hardware devices. Customer facing experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting CAN networking requirements. Experience with a ticketing system, preferably ServiceNow. Quality cabling skills in installation, splicing, and fabrication. Clearance Requirements: Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Physical Requirements: Maintains a regular sedentary position, attends meeting both virtually and in person, constantly positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet and must be willing to travel as needed to support operational demands.

The primary duties and tasks include: • Conduct Range Training Office (RTO) objectives using applicable systems for each mission. • Setup, operate, and monitor communications networks, computer terminals, and CRT video displays to ensure integrity of mission objectives. • Provide positive control of assets during assigned missions as directed in the mission plan. • Understand highspeed RADAR picture, communicating to aircraft during time sensitive dynamic missions. • Interface directly with project director and customer to ensure mission objectives are met with the scheduled systems. • Provide assistance with scheduling and administrative requirements. • Use established policies and procedures and subject matter knowledge to complete assignments of moderate complexity that vary in nature and sequence. • Performs related work as required. REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE Note: Position will be filled at any of the levels listed below. Mission Operations Controller V: The incumbent should be a high school graduate or equivalent, graduate of a military Air Intercept Control school or Air Weapons Control school and have 10 years of experience controlling aircraft using close and tactical control.
