From June 26 to 30 we joined the Foiling Week™ 2024 held in Fraglia Vela Malcesine, Lake Garda, with our partner ROCKWOOL Group. ⛵️ During the event,we had the opportunity to present the environmental projects carried out in collaboration with Team Denmark, as "More Speed Less Plastic" and "Race To Restore", highilighting how sports can be an effective platform to communicate high-impact environmental initiatives. Together with ROCKWOOL and BioDesign Foundation, we joined forces in a clean-up activity involving more than 50 people, including Foiling Week participants and athletes from the ROCKWOOL Denmark SailGP Team, showcasing a concrete commitment to environmental protection. The ROCKWOOL Group Impact Summit took place in Halifax, Nova Scotia ahead of the ROCKWOOL #CanadaSGP event on 1-2 June 2024 🔥 Titled "Ocean Champions for Climate Action" the event – a collaboration between ROCKWOOL Group, SailGP and Halifax Partnership, brought together leaders from sports, science and business to share insights on climate change and how we can collaborate in the fight against it 🌍 The panels included the likes of Mirella Amalia Vitale, Andrew Thompson, Kerry Gosse, Dalhousie University scientist Prof. Kristina Boerder and Olympians-turned-SailGP athletes Katja Salskov-Iversen and Annie Haeger, OLY 🤝 Thanks to Wendy Luther for moderating and Andrew Boswell, Jennifer Hall and the local team for the support to make this happen 🇨🇦 #sailgp
