A Heartfelt Thank You and Warm Holiday Wishes from 2024 LMANE President, Robyn Addis As my year as President of the LMA Northeast Region draws to a close, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and pride for all we have accomplished together in 2024. This year, we set ambitious goals: to strengthen our local communities, clarify volunteer roles and pathways, and deliver an unforgettable regional conference. And thanks to the incredible dedication, passion, and collaboration of our volunteer leaders, local steering committees, and members, we exceeded every expectation. To those who answered the call to reinvigorate in-person programming, your efforts brought high-quality, well-attended events that reconnected our members in meaningful ways. From thought-provoking programs to laughter-filled social gatherings, you rekindled the spirit of our community. To our regional board and local leaders, you worked tirelessly to guide this organization forward, ensuring our shared vision for the Northeast Region became a reality. Your commitment to inclusion, positivity, and collaboration built an environment where many felt empowered to contribute. And to the 2024 Regional Conference planning committee, you made our dream of hosting a vibrant and impactful event in Boston come true. Seeing our community come together to share knowledge, ideas, and inspiration was a highlight of the year—and a testament to what happens when we invest in one another. To every member, volunteer, and leader: Thank you for your support, enthusiasm, and trust. You have inspired me and made this journey truly unforgettable. As we look to 2025, I am excited for all that lies ahead under the leadership of my dear friend, Lynn Tellefsen Stehle. She will continue building on our momentum and guiding this organization to even greater heights. Wishing you all the happiest of holidays and a bright, fulfilling new year filled with opportunities to connect, grow, and lead together.
