We’re thrilled to announce a strategic collaboration with Power2X to accelerate the supply of sustainable aviation fuel in Europe. Our UOP eFining™ methanol-to-jet processing technology will be implemented in Power2X’s eFuels Rotterdam project – a large-scale production and storage hub for for sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF) and synthetic, ultra-low carbon fuels. The Rotterdam production facility will have the capacity to produce more than 250,000 tonnes per year of eSAF and our technology will play a central role in production. A recent customer case study shows how the combination of Topsoe’s SynCOR™ autothermal reforming (ATR) and our UOP Cryogenic Fractionation CO2 capture technology can reduce carbon emissions while producing cost-efficient, low-carbon intensity hydrogen.
