Wishing all of our students a restful and joyful Christmas break! Can't wait to see you back on campus in the new year!
The Master of Business Administration, Healthcare Administration Specialization, known as the Robbins Healthcare MBA, develops those with a passion for serving others with the analytical and interpersonal skills required for early career executive positions in healthcare. The Healthcare Administration Specialization combines the quantitative strengths of an MBA with a specialized, experiential learning-and competency-based curriculum focused on the healthcare industry. Degree plan offerings include the administrative residency track (ART) – which includes a nine-month, paid administrative residency at the senior executive level of a progressive healthcare organization - and the pre-clinical track (PCT) - intended for students who wish to complete a one-year healthcare MBA the year prior to attending an advanced clinical degree program (e.g., MD, DO, PA, DPT, DDS, PharmD). The Robbins Healthcare MBA seeks competitive applicants and offers all accepted students with academic scholarships ranging from 25-100% tuition remission. The Robbins Healthcare MBA is currently ranked #19 according to U.S. News and World Report, is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation for Healthcare Management Education (CAHME), and is a member of the Business School Alliance for Health Management programs (BAHM), Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA), American College of Healthcare Executive Higher Education Network, as well as the National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL) Graduate Education in Health Management Leadership Council.

We're excited to share that our talented first-year Robbins Healthcare MBA students, Ashley Farokhrouz, Amelia Poad and Abigail Steed, coached by Cherise Bridgwater, MBA, FACHE, FHFMA, have brought home the first place at the Gulf Coast Healthcare Leaders Association's Annual Case Competition! Their strategic operations plan for overcoming challenges at Metro Ambulatory Surgery Center impressed the judges and showcased their exceptional skills and knowledge. A huge thank you to the Gulf Coast Healthcare Leaders Association for hosting this fantastic event and to Baylor College of Medicine for providing the stunning McNair Campus. We're incredibly proud of our students and can't wait to see what they'll accomplish in the future! Forest Kim
We recently hosted the 8th Annual Robbins Case Competition, bringing together 12 teams from MHA and MBA Healthcare Administration programs across the country, all competing for up to $12,000. Half of the cohort served as student-hosts, guiding visiting teams, while the other half managed room operations and ensured smooth logistics. Everyone also had the opportunity to watch the final three teams present. Mary Jo Robbins presented the awards and shared a touching speech from her late husband, William K. Robbins, from the last Robbins Case Competition he attended. Thank you to all the schools that participated! Forest Kim, Cherise Bridgwater, MBA, FACHE, FHFMA
