YOUR Dream Career Is For Your Kids!

Inspire Through Action!

Hey readers,

Have you ever pondered about the ripple effect of living your dream career? It's not just about you. Your triumphs, your choices, your fulfillment – they all cast a powerful influence, especially on the younger generation.

Before my venture into the world of coaching, my kids seldom mentioned my job to their friends, despite my high-profile role in Formula One. Interestingly, it was only when I transitioned to my true calling - becoming a #dreamjobcoach, author, and inspirational speaker - that their faces lit up with pride when discussing 'what daddy does.'

Now, what does this story reveal?

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall

Children are remarkably observant. They're like sponges, absorbing everything around them - our habits, our passions, our complaints, and yes, our career choices. They see our evening tirades against a rude boss or how we drag ourselves out of bed, dreading the day ahead. Such experiences impact them deeply, often shaping their future attitudes toward work.

But here's the beauty of it all - children also reflect our joys, our passions, and our zest for life. When they witness us waking up, energized and eager to seize the day, they're inclined to embrace that positivity. They aspire to be just like us - thriving, fulfilled, and passionate.

Be The North Star

Every time you make a career choice, remember you're setting an example. Claiming your dream job isn't just a personal achievement; it's an emblem of hope and possibility for everyone around you. When others, especially our kids, see us succeeding, they believe they can too. They internalize the lesson that it's possible to reach for the stars and touch them.

The Dream Job Effect

Your dream job isn't just about a paycheck or a title either. It's about purpose, happiness, and balance. It's about stepping into a realm where Mondays are welcomed, and challenges are relished. And this positive energy? It doesn't go unnoticed. It becomes a beacon for those in our inner circle, compelling them to strive for their own happiness. And finally pays huge dividends, financially and emotionally!

Take The Leap!

If you're feeling that tug, that quiet whisper telling you there's more out there, listen to it. Not just for you, but for every person who looks up to you. Remember, our children don't just inherit our features; they inherit our fears, our dreams, and our ambitions. Let's show them a path sprinkled with passion and purpose.

And if you're wondering where to start, let the Career Bootcamp Method be your guiding light. This proven strategy has empowered countless individuals to create, find, and seize their dream job in under 10 weeks. If they could transform their career trajectory, so can you!

It's time to embody the change, inspire through your journey, and be the role model who lights up not just your world, but everyone's around you.

Wishing YOU a great day :-)

What you say is so true Michael-Maria, our children take much of their inspiration and attitude towards life from us as parents. One of the real challenges for so many though is to demonstrate an attitude we wish for our children regardless of the job we have, or possibly because of the job we have. Working hard at a job we don't like, or multiple jobs in many cases, because at that moment in time we need to put food on the table and keep a roof over our heads, can be an equally powerful and important message for our children, especially in the modern age of uTubers and IG Influencers suggesting money can be made by anyone without some degree of graft, commitment or hard work. To do this, for me, is equally important as we all strive to create the life we aspire to as it also demonstrates that it doesn't matter where you start your journey from, the end goal can be achieved... 😊

Learning this way too late. My son is 27 and I wish I had thought about the example I was setting by working all the time when he was younger.

Kids are always watching! I have lots of stories where you don’t think they are paying attention and then they do or say something that lets you know they were! Imagine all the years they are watching your career journey!

Yes - absolutely agree. I wonder how much me setting up my coaching business is already influencing an entrepreneurial leaning in my 7 year old. He's off to a car boot sale on Monday to sell origami and jewellery he's made.
