Start the year with a clean slate....
We have to do lists, project plans, brain storms, deadlines, endless meetings. Sometimes we need to acknowledge the time has come to stop and take a break. So this is it, whatever your religion or tradition, we all need to take time to wipe the slate clean. It is tempting to clean it and fill it back up again, but really the calm and insight comes from time without the list, the deadlines, the hustle. So we are taking time to ponder on the empty blackboard, stare into the distance, think about things over the horizon, think about nothing for a bit. Next year, after some beach, exercise, time with loved ones, rest and contemplation, we will think about what we want to put back on the board and what we can live without. Enjoy!
