October Highlights from PANTA RHAI
When we launched PANTA RHAI in 2023, no one could have anticipated the role AI would come to play in our lives. A hype? A passing fad? Or something in between? We believe AI has found its footing. It is now firmly embedded in many aspects of both private and professional life. AI is here to stay.
However, with our newsletter, we don’t want to dwell on the past. Nor do we want to push tools you must use to avoid being left behind by the AI wave. Instead, we want to share intriguing insights into the world of AI from our perspective, insights gained through our daily work with fascinating people. This may include, for example, interviews with international AI experts.
In the future, we also want to highlight specific use cases that we develop with and for our clients and partners. Feel free to share your successes (or even setbacks) with us, so we can share them here as well.

Whitepaper in Collaboration with Media Lab Bayern
In our latest Whitepaper, we explore how Custom GPTs from OpenAI can reshape the media landscape and share concrete insights into our experience building them.
This paper delves into practical applications of these GPTs, answering key questions: How can media companies leverage these tools effectively? And what have we learned from hands-on experiences – what works well, and where are the challenges?
Research Intermediate: Acceptance of AI in Media
In partnership with the University of Rostock and the University of Hamburg, PANTA RHAI has started to explore how German consumers perceive AI-generated content. Our preliminary findings are promising: consumers are open to AI in media, intrigued by its possibilities, and willing to engage with AI-driven articles. However, some skepticism remains about source credibility, underscoring the importance of transparency.
Media companies should embrace AI while focusing on building trust and highlighting benefits like personalized content. With this balanced approach, AI can be a trusted asset in the evolving media landscape.
