My Top 5 Rules for Sustained Success

My Top 5 Rules for Sustained Success

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are having a strong week!

Before the weekend is fully in our sights, as a little THANK YOU for all the lovely Birthday messages last weekend, I have decided to share my top 5 rules that I use almost every day.

As of November, I will be sharing business tips, ideas & opportunities frequently via my private blog. To be kept up to date simply pop in your name over at www.michellemone.com/tellme

So, in no particular order....

RULE 1 - Know the company you keep.

Surround yourself with positive people. It will enable you to do great things that you once thought you could not. It will help you to develop as a professional – and not always because these people can help you directly, but their energy and attitude alone will inspire you to be a champion.

RULE 2 - Take risks.

Everyone has to take risks to reach ultimate success. You should always have a backup plan & where possible calculate risks before taking them… but sometimes you have to go with your instincts alone. If it feels right, DO IT!

RULE 3 - Invest in yourself & your business.

Any smart investment you make will bring immediate benefit in the short run, and pay for itself in the long run. Make your money work for you by investing in assets, improvements & your development.

RULE 4 - Do your homework.

Be careful who you take advice from. Many people are quick to give advice and opinions but few actually have the track record to know what they are talking about. If people are too pushy, usually they have a hidden agenda... so, beware!

RULE 5 - Know what you want & how you plan to get it.

Many people have too many goals, which can confuse things and mean negative progress towards each end result. Have a clear idea of your core goals & a map of how you will get them… then execute.

These rules have been vital to my successes over the years. They are so simply, yet they have improved the fortunes of many Entrepreneurs I have shared them with privately...

**Note: This post is based on the assumption that you have already mastered the basics of what you do for a living!!**

Do you share any of these rules?

What rules do you live by?

Thanks for reading

All my best,

Michelle
