Let People Know You EXIST!

Let People Know You EXIST!

Hey friends!

In the dynamic world of business, your personal brand serves as your unique signature, your unmistakable mark. And if you're not making waves online, you're missing out on countless opportunities for growth, connection, and success.

Take a moment to reflect: Is your online presence authentically reflecting your core values and beliefs? Are you giving people a genuine glimpse into who you are and what fires you up? If not, it's time to flip the script.

Let's face it: People want to do business with those they resonate with, trust, and admire. By crafting an authentic personal brand and sharing your journey on platforms like LinkedIn, you’ll magnetically attract your ideal audience.

Sure, you might have sprinkled a few business posts here and there, but does your audience truly grasp your professional evolution and the value you bring? If not, it's time to step into the spotlight and broadcast your skills, experiences, and unique offerings.

Here's a practical exercise I like to use with my clients to tap into their story and kickstart their personal brand:

📍Using a timeline, map out your story by identifying the pivotal moments and milestones (both personal and professional) that have sculpted your beliefs and convictions

🧠 Dive deep into these experiences, unraveling the underlying "why" behind your passions and purpose

✍🏽 Craft your narrative into a compelling personal brand story ready to be shared with the world

I've had the privilege of collaborating with brilliant minds, gracing influential stages, and cultivating a six-figure plus business, all by embracing the development of my personal brand. It is a deep passion of mine to help other BIPOC entrepreneurs reach their own version of success as well.

So consider this your wake-up call to stop spinning, stalling, and staying small and let people know you EXIST!

In solidarity,

Carissa

Community Highlights

A space to share what our powerful ecosystem of BIPOC entrepreneurs are working on

Like many fellow independent small business owners, I’ve been quiet on this platform about my support for Palestinian liberation.

And though I started protesting in October, participating in community gatherings and teach ins, organizing locally in Vegas and talking to friends, I was uncertain how to approach the conversation on social media.

I may have been nervous to speak up then but watching the horrors of genocide continue to play out and the attacks on DEI by our own government with an election coming up, it’s impossible not to speak up and about time people know where I stand.

Maybe you too have been quietly wondering what to do and say on this issue.

If you’re a business owner and BIPOC, it’s especially challenging to run a business as a marginalized person and decide how to take action when threats to your business and livelihood are real. Perhaps by being in community with other business owners you’ll feel encouraged to do so. That’s why I invite you to join me for Gelaine Santiago and Nadia De Ala, CPCC's workshop tomorrow, March 6th to learn how to take imperfect action.

Register for the workshop HERE. Demand ceasefire HERE ✊🏽
