I've found strength learning from others. How about you?

As a wife, mother and career woman, I often asked myself over this past year, am I good enough to do it all well? How many times have you felt pressured or emotionally isolated since the start of the pandemic?

Avon’s recent research on women’s experiences during the pandemic showed that 92% of women have felt increased pressure over the pandemic, with 57% of women reporting increased feelings of doubt. We might have advanced a decade in digital connections but stepped back one – or more – on women’s empowerment.

We at Avon know that beauty is more than make up, beauty also means self-confidence and courage to overcome life hurdles. 68% of women find strength in hearing every day, relatable stories from other women, and 72% find comfort in being able to share their experiences. That’s why we’ve launched the My Story Matters campaign, to encourage, support and cheer on one another. Together we are stronger.

For International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating these stories of overcoming and becoming. For each donated story we donate $1 to supporting women’s empowerment.
